My wife and I went for a walk this morning just after we got up, not quite realising how much it had been raining over night ! When we got to the path we wanted to take, it was very wet !
The torrent of water was breaking quite high against the legs of the bridge - we've never actually seen it this high here !
And the banks had swollen as well, coming up all around the trees.
Those are Christmas baubles on the tree above !
The path was quite wet, but we still enjoyed the walk !
The water was quite rough at the top bridge !
Lots of debris was getting washed down because it was flowing so fast.
There was still a little bit of autumn colour around !
And the path was a bit of a washout in places !
Although we got soaked, we enjoyed our walk, and were glad to get some steps in ! Ironically we then went shopping to buy booze for New Years, but I didnt take any photos of that !
