Hello there, I'm so pleased to welcome you to my market Friday blog initiated by
Hive account@dswigle 🥰. It's been a while I've written a market blog and it's not because I don't visit the market but because I always forget to take photos that I can share but good thing is that I remembered when I went to the market about a month ago. Yes, a month ago was when I took all of the photos I'd be sharing with you and they were taken by my sister's phone* (not the sister most of you know though, hehe).
Well without wasting much time talking too much, let's get into my market blog...

It was the month of our election here in my country and we faced a lot during that period because of the cashless policy that was happening at that time. Since the elections were coming, we were advised to get as many food stuffs as we could get and luckily for my sister (the person I live with here in school) and I, we got some support from some persons added to the little we had and so we were able to go to the market to get some food stuffs. Like I said, the cashless situation made things really hard for us and the worst part was that it was also hard to make online payments due to network issues and some other problems.

This is my sister and myself with our neighbor, we all went to the market together because we knew we would be buying a lot of things, especially our neighbor, hehe. And I also went along because I wanted to know how the market was in my new place of residence (Benin city in Nigeria) and also get a waybill. The market was not so busy but the good thing was that it had everything we needed and it was also easy to pay because everyone we transacted with accepted online payments (yes, it worked).

My neighbor had a little baby so we went to get diapers for her and also sanitary pads for the girls, hehe.

This is another view of the shop that shows the different detergents for washing. We didn't get any of them because we already bought some before.

And this is the image of some edible stuffs, we got milk and it's called Loya milk. We went for that product because it was a full cream milk, very tasty and rich.

Here is the my neighbor carrying her baby's diapers while we were trying to make payments for what we've got which cost over $20.

We bought other items from other shops but I couldn't get photos of everything, so when I got home, I took out time to take a shot of some of the things we bought.

If you take a close look, you would see some notebooks, I bought them for myself because since I resumed the semester, I haven't been able to get some notebooks because I did some photocopy of the notes I needed since I started the semester late and I was preparing for the first semester examination.

We also bought some sachet Hollandia drink, my sister loves them a lot and couldn't resist not getting some even when we don't have so much.

Of course some fast food, hehe.

Here is a clear view of the Loya milk, if you are in Nigeria you should try it out, you'd love it, hehe.
My market Friday ended up with me going to get my afritunes t-shirt from the park it was sent to.

This is me when I tried it on 🤭, I just love the quality of the t-shirt it's just so nice and I'm grateful to the
Hive account@afritunes community for counting me worthy to get one 🥰.
That's it guys, I'm pleased to share my market experience with you. Don't hesitate to leave your thoughts at e comment section, it would be highly appreciated 😊.
Note : All images are mine and were taken using an iPhone 11.
Until next time, stay AWESOME!!!
