How are friends ? Have a happy weekend. Traditional souvenir at a historical sight a few day ago. I visited a historical place namely Cangkuang temple in Garut Regency, West Java.
Where there is a Hindu temple that has existed since the 8 th century ad and remains of traditional Sundanese house. This place was be come a tourist are in this tourist spot there are many souvenir traders who sell various souvenirs for souvenirs to souvenirs take home.
Vendors occupy stalls in row, the location is divided into several blocks, what are the traditional souvenirs that are sold. Souvenir here are made with handicraft,such as handicrafts for drinking water countainers made from processed coconut shalls.
Handicraft from bamboo raft, handicraft bamboo flutes. Handicraft wooden mashed utensils and other handicraft. I'm interested in handicrafts, namely sheep, the material is from genuine sheep wool,cloth other accessories.
This sheep-shaped craft is a form of Garut district, it has a traditional event namely the name of fighting against sheep. Many people cultivate goats and sheep, so to remember one of the results of sheep crafts. Prices for handicraft such as knitted bags at a price of 50.000,-($3).
Price for water from coconut shells at a price of 35.000,-($2), price of the goat craft,which is 35.000,- IDR($2). The price of handicrafts is quite cheap.
