I have been in Ibadan for 10 days already, but I haven't had time to visit the market with my phone. It's a place with a language I barely understand so I wouldn't even know when I am in danger.
Over here, the Yoruba language is deeply rooted in such a way that I have to keep telling someone I don't understand them when they try to communicate with me.
This made me remember I had promised to learn this particular language but kept putting it forward.
Although the friends I made here are trying to convince me to pitch my tent here, I don't think I can do it. At least, not until, I can communicate even though a bit with their mother tongue.
It's the weekend, and we have run out of a lot of things. This evening we decided to head over to the superstore to get supplies.
Unfortunately, we arrived there late, and we couldn't get any of the things we needed. While we tried to exit the store, I stopped only for a few minutes to get these shots to share a few of them for #marketfriday.
You can see that most of the baskets are empty, they apologized for not restocking, and for not being able to find what we needed for our home.
You have to ignore the price tags, the sales personnel had informed me the prices weren't correct when she noticed I was taking shots.
Ps: just remembering that #MarketFriday by loves me.. hehehehe. Hey, ma'am
, a shout out to you for keeping the initiative alive. ☺️☺️🤗🤗
