Hi, #MarketFriday community! I am not yet finished with my shopping activity in Kuala Lumpur. So let me continue. For today's blog, let me bring you to Kuala Lumpur City Gallery.
Kuala Lumpur City Gallery is one of the tourist attractions we visited. The gallery is powered by ARCH which the company sells and creates 3D wooden picture models of known tourist landmarks. You can buy several gifts and collectibles. This is located in Merdeka Square.
There is a tourist information counter where you can ask for maps and other information like what to do and see around Kuala Lumpur.
So, first, we took pictures in front of the I <3 KL.
The moment you come inside, you will see the scale model of the Kuala Lumpur City Gallery.
The place is filled with historical information about Kuala Lumpur. Our tour guide told us how Kuala Lumpur was flooded in the past. Since we are from the Philippines, he told us how the Philippines was an Asian Tiger.
This means the Philippines was a progressive country in the 1960s and that Singapore and Malaysia were poor countries.
That is very sad to know how the Philippines became a poor country after martial law and beyond. Now, Singapore and Malaysia are rich countries in Southeast Asia.
We passed by a giant model of Kuala Lumpur.
The light room was turned off and this is how you see KL, imitating the night scene.
We really enjoyed looking at the models, this is in Merdeka Square.
Here is the Arch Master Craftsmen, maybe his name is Seni Ukir.
This is such a nice artwork.
I think I see Big Ben in London.
The Gift shop
A wall of customized designs.
It's nice to know that you can really touch them.
The Last Supper
Different frames you can buy for your wall.
I bought a black t-shirt, I <3 KL, but I took a white t-shirt for the photo. Hehe!
iPhone 5 Wood Skin phone cover
We were so happy with our t-shirt purchases. Hehe!
Here is the tourist information counter I was talking about.
And that was our shopping experience ended right here. We went outside to see Merdeka Square.
Here's proof of my souvenir shopping in Kuala Lumpur. You can see the plastic bag of Arch Kuala Lumpur with my black t-shirt on it.
