I planned on taking part in this project last week already, but unfortunately "life happened" and I wasn't able to publish.
So, I decided to publish this week, and it almost didn't happen again due to a family emergency.
I am currently 600 KM away from home, but fortunately, I had the photo's ready and the post was ready. Just some final editing need to be ready to publish.
So here we go...
We decided to go for a walk at the Mushroom Farm Market, just outside Hillcrest, in Kwazulu Natal, South Africa.
On arrival, coming from the parking area, you find some neat small shops awaiting you.
In the same building, but on the opposite side, there is a nice little restaurant where you can sit down and have something to eat and drink.
But what drew us here, was to come to a market with a farm atmosphere.
The property is on a mushroom farm, but they also have some farm animals in the market area for the children to see and enjoy.
I loved this peacock looking out over "his territory"...lol.
A little later he came down and I managed to capture his beautiful colors in this photo...
Going past the animals, the market has its own bakery.
The bakery also has some tables where you can be seated while the little ones can have a good time playing in the playing area.
A little further down is a nice little business, called ENVIRO TIMBERS, who manufactures wooden furniture for the outdoors.
Here are some of the furniture they had on display.
At the bottom end, there is a massive area designated to garden decorating.
There were some nice items on display...such as this little elephant water feature.
This was an overall overview of the market. In a later post, I will focus more on individual posts and prices.
So that's it for today folks.
Thank you for reading my post, I do appreciate it!
