Hello Market Friday....
When it comes to budgeting we can find a better option, right? During preparing the celebration for the birthday of my youngest son I've been exhausted which one is better. If I just ordered a food packaged or we just cook by ourselves at home with my family. Kind of headache. So majority is, we just cook at home as an advice of my siblings. Save money so that I can provide the other needs.
One thing also, I need to pay my Globe at home wifi for 1,699php($30). My partner send me money via RIA remittance for 8,000php($142 ) for the birthday of baby Collin but I need to give 2,000php($36 ) to my stepson. His birthday is also September. Then. 1,000php($19 ) budget for school lunch for the teachers. Then 2,000php for the wet market budget for baby Collin's birthday.
At the wet market...
Early morning of September 18,2023 me and my elder sister go to wet market to buy some pork/chicken meat, fish, shrimps and vegetables.
At first we buy pork meat. Sister Josephine want the pork belly for the pork humba. I'm glad that the owner is the brod of my sister in fraternity lol. The 1kg of pork belly is 340php($6 ) but he give it for only 300php. Thanks God! What a big discount for me, it's a big help also for other things that I want to buy.
We've been roaming around but 1 stall only selling a big shrimps. It's quite expensive for 300php per kg. We need to balance because my nanay(mother) don't want to eat pork meat. This shrimps is for her, so I just buy 1kg only. Nanay also loves shrimps and squids. No one selling also a squids.
In our family the Kinilaw is one of our best food. We're totally blessed for having a fresh fish everyday at the wet market. Since I loved Bangus(milkfish) so I prefer this one for our kinilaw. The price of the bangus is really squeezed my nerves, my goodness! It's 200php($4 ) per kg. The last time I buyed is only 160php($3 ). Why oh why the inflation is getting worst.
After buying fish we go to vegetables corner to buy some ingredients for chicken curry and kinilaw. I'm done buying the lumpia ingredients last Sunday but I forgot to captured it and also the spaghetti. Then the Biko ingredients also hehehe, my father's favorite. I really prepared all the foods that we want to eat.
Last but not the least, the chicken. I didn't buy at wet market because it's quite expensive rather to REAN MEAT SHOP. The 1kg at REAN is 170php($3 ) but in the wet market is 220php($4 ). Big difference right? We must be more wiser when it comes to price. Money is not easy to find so we need to spend wisely.

6,069 is totally worth it because I payed my globe at home wifi. Thanks to my siblings for helping me. Without them I can't cook all of the foods for baby Collin's 5th birthday.
