Hello everyone, it's time for #MarketFriday, an inspiring challenge initiated by .
During my recent stay in Kranjska Gora in Slovenia, I saw a lot of beautiful landscapes.
Walking under the Alps, I felt like I was in a dream from which I didn't want to wake up. The colors around me were more intense, the grass was greener...
The dandelions were yellower...
Everything was somehow perfect.
During a long walk along the spacious meadows, I unexpectedly came across an interesting place. It was Kosobrin, a cafe-restaurant.
As the prices in Kranjska Gora are quite high everywhere, I was surprised when I saw the menu that this was not the case here.
The atmosphere was very pleasant. I love log cabins in nature and cafes that fit into such a natural environment.
A lot of cyclists take a break here.
My mom ordered Kosobrin tea for 2.40 euros made from carefully selected herbs.
She liked the tea so much that we asked what the herbs were and then we got a bag that said what the tea contained. Very kind. It was homemade tea that cannot be bought in a store, but only directly from the people who make it.
I ordered blueberry strudel with ricotta cheese. It was delicious and cost only 5 euros.
Next to the cafes there was a children's playground. My son especially liked the wooden train.
Everything was so simple and beautiful at the same time.
We also saw a house where Himalayan goats live and it was very interesting that their names were written on the house.
We continued walking and suddenly we met a lot of horses coming towards us. We heard that they came from Austria and Italy and that this is a custom and tradition in Kranjska Gora during the May Day holidays.
My son greeted them by clapping his hands and waving.
We continued our walk and when we were coming back, we met the horses again. This time they were gathered at a rest area.
My son jumped at the chance to pet them.
The smell of sausages spread everywhere. I saw that the participants of this event were waiting to receive their portion.
I assumed the sausages were free but I wasn't sure. Everything was well organized.
I was happy that I had the chance to spend the day in such a simple and beautiful environment and create content for the #MarketFriday challenge again.
Thank you very much for reading.
The images and writing are original and mine.
Greetings!
