I went to the town's public market with my wife to buy stuff for our meals. I told her that I crave for a viand that have coconut milk so we went upstairs to find chopped bread nut fruits, one of the best main ingredients for making food recipe that is enriched with coconut milk because they are inexpensive compared to other taro leaves and jackfruit.
Then we dropped by at the meatstall to buy some homemade sausages and fresh meat.
Afterwards we bought some upland vegetables such as cabbage, chayote and carrots for making soups.
Then before going downstairs, we bought natural fresh coconut milk from a stall adjacent to the vegetable stalls.
Then we go downstairs to buy dried anchovies for my bread nut fruit with coconut milk recipe.
Also needed for the recipe is some red chili hot peppers and other spices like garlic onions, and ginger.
Wfen we passed by a peddler who sells rice cakes, we stopped to buy some.
Before finally headed for home, we dropped by at a grocery store to buy sugar and other condiments.
To sum it up, we buy most of the goods from trusted hawkers because they are budget-friendly. These hawkers who are mostly from the neighboring towns are been around here for years and they come here every market day.
