Hey there, Market Friday Community! It's been a while since I last shared, so I wanted to give you a rundown of my recent trip to Mydin for grocery shopping.
I chose Mydin, our beloved supermarket, because it's spacious, convenient, and conveniently close to my home. As soon as I arrived, I headed inside and withdrew some cash from the ATM.
On the first floor, there's an amusement center where I noticed lots of kids having a blast. I strolled past the clothing section, simply admiring the outfits on display.
Since I wasn't in the mood for shopping clothes, I descended the escalator and made my way to the market area.
My plan was to whip up some delicious spaghetti, so I gathered all the necessary ingredients like vegetables, onions, garlic, and more. It should be enough to last us a couple of weeks.
My daughter and son were with me, so I let them pick out their own snacks like biscuits, chocolate, and popcorn. I must admit, the popcorn here is absolutely irresistible!
After weighing the vegetables at the queue, we proceeded to the cashier. Unfortunately, the cashier was a bit slow, and it took us a while to finally reach our turn. My mom and daughter decided to wait outside on a nearby bench while my son and I completed the payment process.
Once we were done, I spotted our local small sweet shop named Cool City selling ice cream, and we couldn't resist treating ourselves. It was my cheat day, after all. Hello, sweetness! 😜
Before heading home, I stumbled upon a charming booth showcasing beautiful glass lights. I instantly fell in love with them. Take a look at this picture:
To sum it up, it was a fantastic day spent with my family. I genuinely enjoy their company, even during a simple grocery shopping trip. Wishing everyone a marvelous day and a constant reminder to appreciate what you have. Don't wait until it's all gone.
