Stoff & Stil
I heard about this craft shop from some women I met at another textile shop in the city. It is a huge store that sells anything from fabrics, quilmaking materials, dresses and templates, stuffed toys, pillows, and many more.
The store is more than a year in existence in this place. But finding it proved to be very difficult. Located behind the big stores in the industrial area of the 22nd District in Vienna, I looked for it, found it behind a supermarket. it was really hidden. Its name according to the signboard on top of the store says SELFMADE but the name of the shop is Stoff & Stil ( Fabric & Style). The signboard, in white color is not drawing any attention for customers or passers-by, which in other words is unnoticeable by people passing by the street.
I came to explore the store and to see what they have. For the first impression, it was not bad. There were fabrics on sale and the prices are affordable. Depending on the quality of the fabric, I can say they can compete with other stores in the city proper.
If only I had more time on that day......
..I could have explored the shop the whole day, lol.
It is simply a one stop-shop. My favorite area is the stand where the materials for bag making is available. I could splurge into getting some even if I do not have a specific project in mind. Sometimes hoarding materials is the key for future projects.... just like "Hodling Crypto tokens... Lolols! But that would be a waste of course if I do not start the project right away.
They also sell fashionable dress patterns in the shop as well as pearls and mineral beads for those interested in making jewelries out of semi precious stones. Sewing courses are offered too and making stuff toys as well.
By exploring the shop, I was able to find a leather handle for my bag that needed some repair. The linen fabric above is a good example of my love for flowers and I will always remember 
I discovered a basket that was full of remnants of various fabrics with good qualities just like a gobelin with hydrangeas design below for a bag project. It cost 9.57 for a meter with a width of 135 cm. I knew I made a reasonable buy.
