You really do love Christmas don't you ? After you've put up all those fabulous decorations and done your shopping etc, you'd want to make the occasion last more than just a day wouldn't you? Hence.......Christmas in July. Your July temperatures are more like ours when we celebrate Christmas in December. It's usually so hot, the cooks of the families opt for salads and BBQ's but on a grander scale than normal.
I do wish I hadn't seen that delicious meal at the end of your post because it dinner time here at the moment and I have nothing prepared. NOTHING.......and I want what is on YOUR plate NOW!
I'll stifle to child in me however, and get cracking on my Market Friday post whilst ignoring the hanger pangs. Will be back shortly. (Sigh!)
