As the saying goes "home is where the heart is," it is important to build a home of your own liking and comfort.
Hi there, wholesome reader!
I was back in Manila for a business trip, hence, the reason of me being missing in action here. Fortunately, we had no scheduled meeting yesterday. To kill time before our 8pm flight back to Cebu, we decided to stroll around SM Mall of Asia, or also known as MOA.
As an adult in her mid-twenties, it is undeniable that I already find joy in furniture shopping. Since there is an IKEA store in MOA, I suggested to my colleagues that we try to visit the famous home furniture and home decor brand.
The store is situated beside the MOA Arena and has four floors. This is the first store in the Philippines. Recently, they also opened a branch in Cebu but it is just a collection point. This means that customers can purchase items on their website and have it delivered in the collection point, and then they can pick up the items there once delivery is complete.
What we found very smart in terms of sales generation are the escalators and the elevators. I'm not sure if they were really designed for that purpose but that's what we thought. All their escalators are going up, leading people to really look around the store. You can also use the elevators either going up or down and the elevators are spacious enough for your purchases.
We were interested to see their showroom, which was located at the uppermost floor, so we went up straight to the fourth level.
It took more or less an hour for us to roam around and see all room imitations. It was fun to see as every room imitation has its own unique design.
Another smart idea in this store is that they have a café on the third floor! After spending your energy on walking around to look for furnitures and decors, of course, you'll feel the need to fill in that lost energy. And how else can you do that but by consuming some food, right?
In their café, they offer coffee (whether hot or cold), bread, pastries, and other beverages. While I can't drink colored drinks for the time being, I ordered a box of water and an almond croissant bun!
They also have a lot of chairs and tables in the café, making sure that their customers can comfortably enjoy their food, or simply offer comfort for those who are tired from all the walking around their store.
Thank you for reading my post up to this point. I hope you have a great time ahead!
I'll take delight in writing for you again soon.
Love,
Sam ♡
