I wrote a code that could convert thousands of doc files to PDF just in few minutes,it just thirty four (34) lines of code. In the code, I included the the counts or should I say I make sure it shows the number of files that is successfully convert at the end of the process. I would love to show the video of how this code works but I think a picture is sufficient to explain how the code works.
This my code was automated in such a way that you could convert thousands of doc files to PDF at go in few minutes.
All you have to do is to have Microsoft word installed, python installed, and a python library called pypiwin32 installed, after that u are good to go.
For you to get all the PDF files converted, u just need to type this following commands in your cmd prompt.
"Python scripting2.py pdfbox"
"scripting2.py" is the name of the file and "pdfbox" is the name of the folder you want the converted PDF files to save to, after executing the command, you will then press enter, it will ask you for the folder of the doc files. If you successfully input the right folder name then it will convert the files for you at a go, counting from 1 to the total number of doc files u have in the folder, even if you have thousands of the doc files, it will convert it for you, the speed of conversion now depends on how fast your computer is.
I can also make the one that could convert the PDF files back to doc files.
I could write another code that could design or edit thousands of images at a go, and I can also write a code that could merge thousands of PDF files together and I can also write code that can watermark thousands of pictures or PDF files.
Yeah as a machine learning Engineer i can do alot with python and scripting.
