Throughout my years of field experience as a Consulting Engineer, I’ve come to see motors not just as equations in a textbook, but as the very pulse of the projects I lead. From synchronizing massive generators in remote mining sites to commissioning specialized cold storage units from Porkka Finland, I’ve learned that the electric motor is the driving force behind both industrial progress and public health.
The Porkka Challenge across Sudan:
During my time supervising the installation and operation of world-class vaccine cooling systems across most of Sudan—from the capital, Khartoum, to Atbara and Wad Madani, reaching as far as Dongola, El Fasher, and Nyala—the ultimate challenge was always the same: maintaining motor and compressor efficiency under extreme temperatures. In these critical healthcare projects, a deep understanding of motor dynamics is what keeps the "cold chain" intact, ensuring life-saving vaccines remain safe for thousands of children.
