Recently over a few years I had started my Medical career as a Medical Sonologist and Sonographer having the love and passion for different types of ultrasound imaging examination and techniques performed by any Professional Medical Sonologist or Sonographer. However, one could say the importance and use of the ultrasound scan cannot be over emphasized most especially in our modern day technology and advancement in Science and Medicine today. These are images of a pregnant woman undergoing an ultrasound imaging scan on abdomen and knee region performed by a Medical Sonologist or Sonographer in a hospital or Medical facility. This type of Ultrasound scan is called an obstetric USS.
Meanwhile, there are different types of ultrasound scans which I wouldn't want to talk about for now. But obstetric ultrasound is very good, safe, easy and affordable today everywhere in the world. Most women prefer to undergo Ultrasound imaging to know the sex or gender of their baby, the position and lie of the baby, placenta position and general well being of the baby to check whether there's any fetal abnormality so as to avoid future complications during labor or delivery. Ultrasound scan is very good and I advise everyone, not only pregnant women alone, to undergo an ultrasound scan to check their vital internal organs whether they're fine or not.
