La Odontología no sólo es tratar a pacientes vivos va mas allá de eso, puesto que conforma un gran univeso de diversas especialidades, como lo es la Odontologia legal y forense que es la rama de la odontología encaragada en el estudio de los cadaveres, mediante sus dientes y características, sin embargo no sólo a los cadáveres sino también huellas de mordeduras o lesiones producidas por el registro dentario, en personas vivas que sufren maltratos, el odontólogo legal tiene como objectivo estudiar e investigar para dar un criterio legal, particularmente esta materia actualmente me encuentro cursandola en la universidad y les hablare de un tema muy importante que llamo mi atención como lo es los fenómenos Cadavericos.
Dentistry is not only about treating living patients, it goes beyond that, since it forms a large univeso of various specialties, such as legal and forensic dentistry which is the branch of dentistry responsible for the study of corpses, through their teeth and characteristics, however not only corpses but also traces of bites or injuries caused by the dental record, The legal odontologist has as an objective to study and investigate to give a legal criterion, particularly this subject at the moment I am studying it in the university and I will speak to you about a very important subject that I called my attention as it is the Cadaveric phenomena.
Es muy importante manejar primeramente ciertos conceptos y términos para conocer en si, todo relacionado a los fenómenos cadavericos, cuando hablamos de la palabra cadaver se refiere sin vida por ende van a ocurrir ciertos factores que permiten la descomposición o cambios, que se daran desde el momento en la persona perdió los signos vitales, también debemos tener en cuenta la definición de muerte es cuando nuestro cuerpo deja de funcionar se detiene por completo todas las funciones del sistema respiratorio, cardiovascular, nerviosas y también de termoregulación en el organismo, en esta última debemos saber que existen distintos tipos de muertes natural, aparente, súbita, cerebral y violenta.
It is very important to first handle certain concepts and terms to know everything related to cadaveric phenomena, when we speak of the word cadaver refers to lifeless therefore certain factors will occur that allow decomposition or changes, which will occur from the moment the person lost vital signs, we must also take into account the definition of death is when our body stops functioning, all the functions of the respiratory, cardiovascular, nervous and thermoregulation systems in the organism are completely stopped, in this last one we must know that there are different types of natural, apparent, sudden, cerebral and violent deaths.
Debemos saber identificar los distintos signos cadavericos de como encontramos los cadaveres, es decir los distintos estados que transcurre naturalmente en el cuerpo una vez que ya han pérdido la vida, en primer lugar cuando se esta recién muerto, el cuerpo pasa por un estado de enfriamiento por lo que hay una pérdida de calor por lo que la temperatura aumenta, hasta que esta busca estar conforme a la del ambiente. El otro signo que se presenta es la deshidratación debido a la perdida de la cantidad del agua en el organismo, también se presentara una livides que son diversas manchas rojizas debido a la acumulación de la sangre en el organismo, debido a la gran falta de gravedad, esta livides también viene dada por la posición en la que se presente el cadaver.

Cabe destacar que uno de los signos también presente, es la rigidez debido a la contractura muscular y por último esta la putrefacción, en el cual el cadaver pasará por un proceso de fermentación debido a que todas las bacterias comienzan a desconponerse por completo, este proceso de putrefacción se iniciará justamente después de 24 a 30 después de fallecer. La importancia de conocer estos signos nos permitirá determinar cuanto ha transcurrido después de la horas de muerte e incluso, determinar en algunas casos el tipo de muerte, debido a las siguientes características ya mencionadas.
