Now most folks would think of The famous sitcom The Big Bang Theory's iconic episode The Luminous Fish effect, here's the particular clip that introduced most of us to this term.
Well the fact is that that experiment was already a success by the Taiwanese Scientists, indeed they can now shout that....
I first came across a video of these miraculous work of genetic manipulation through my favorite science (and other stuffs) memes guy on Twitter.

Then I went to the internet and behold, it is blowing up in that little corner of the web that your daily searches don't take you too.
So why not introduce it to hive?
About the experiment ๐ฅผ๐งช
So the fish was created by the Florescent Angelfish Company in Pingtung.
It's actually a boring process of very selective mating on the scientist part.
Scientists had to sit next to the tanks and wait for the female fish to lay eggs.
Once the eggs are laid, they had a very short window to inject gene fragments into the fish eggs while covering the eggs in an electric field.
The result was the first generation of fish babies that gave of an eerie green glow.
For those hive whales that want glowing fish babies, you're in luck cause they would soon be out for sale to the general public.
They just need to run some tests on it to make sure it's not the next Godzilla or something ๐๐งช
Reading and writing this though did make me wonder...
> What else can we make grow?
