So here I was just looking through my feed on Instagram and I came across this neat channel.
Screenshot of the Instagram page.
They have a lot of cool videos there, yet this one I just had to talk about
Magic Sound 😃✨

Apparently after a brief research, it was woefully revealed to me that this wasn't magic😔.
Infact it's obvious physics, a whole topic called Cymatics
Cymatics
This is the study of visible sounds and vibrations. It was originally discovered by Ernst Chladni(dunno what historic memes guy was talking about Robert Hooke) but all credit was given to Hans Jenny, dubbing him 'The father of Cymatics'.just another lesson on how cruel science could be folks😭
So apparently what we saw on the video above is just two examples of Cymatics.
Depending on the object that produces the sound and the place on the metal sheet where the sound originates the sand on the sheet can make different arrangements.
Just look at the image below
Apparently these are the arrangements of sand possible when a square metal plate is strummed by a violin bow.
Well that's all I know about the topic for now, pretty bummed that I didn't learn this in high school, would've made a great practical class...
Instead I was cracking my head over pendulum and AC/DC currents😔
🙂
For further readings, trust me I'll be reading them with you😃
