Buenos días, buenas tardes y buenas noches a todos, como lo prometido es deuda les traigo la segunda parte de Zombis del Futuro. Para los que no han ido a leer la primera parte aquí se las dejo, espero disfruten de este relato.

Nadie pudo olvidar ese trágico día...

Luego de haber quedado en shock por haber visto el horror del supermercado, sentí como alguien me comenzaba a tomar del brazo y a decirme que me levantara, comencé a escucharla cada vez mejor, era una policía que me pedía que saliera del supermercado para recibir atención médica en la ambulancia que estaba afuera. Había algunos lesionados por golpes y caídas, unas 12 personas en total. Nos sentaron en unas sillas flotantes, mientras esperábamos a unos pequeños drones que nos tomaban los signos vitales y hacían revisión del estado de nuestros sentidos así como preguntas de rutina. Además estaban dos lesionados en camillas flotantes que habían sufrido caídas y pisadas de la gente que huyó atropellando, un paramédico atendía a cada uno. Estos paramédico tenía prótesis adaptadas a su columna para agregar 4 brazos y así poder trabajar con mayor velocidad sobre los pacientes. Yo era último que esperaba la atención de alguno de los drones y mientras esperaba comencé a notar como uno de los paramédicos daba unos pasos lejos de su paciente, parecía que se estaba sintiendo mal, pues gritó un par de veces antes de agacharse y quedarse allí, el otro paramédico le preguntó si se sentía bien mientras se acercaba y después de unos segundos el que estaba agachado se le lanzó encima del otro logrando morderle en un brazo pero este otro lo detuvo con los brazos artificiales y comenzaron un forcejeo dónde el primero seguía buscando morder de nuevo al otro. Todos nos asustamos al ver la confusa escena, los drones se acercaron a la pelea y uno de ellos dispararó calmantes al paramédico agresor, pero no le hacían efecto. Poco a poco la mitad de los drones comenzaron a ayudar a someter al paramédico agresor, hasta dejarlo contra el suelo, estos eran dirigidos por el otro paramédico.

Unos segundos más tarde, un par de drones se acercan al paramédico mordido y comienzan a inyectarle algunas sustancias, al parecer se sentía algo mal y parecía perder fuerzas mientras seguía sometiendo a su colega. De pronto gritó "¡VÁYANSE DE AQUÍ!". Acto seguido, dos de los drones les dispararon a cada uno de los paramédicos dardos paralizantes y cayeron desmayados.

El susto hizo que todos nos fuéramos de allí, incluso los que estaban en camillas. Corrí y crucé la esquina para pedir ayuda, grité desesperadamente y logré que se detuviera la última patrulla que se le alejaba en ese momento, corrí hasta alcanzarla y le conté lo que había ocurrido a las 2 policías que estaban allí, se bajaron de la patrulla para investigar. Yo me quedé en la patrulla esperando y solo 5 de los heridos llegaron mientras los otros se habían quedado en el camino, uno de ellos tenía uniforme del supermercado.

En la radio de la patrulla se escuchaba como en muchas partes de la ciudad pedían refuerzos urgentemente por varios disturbios que ocurrían. Los policías que hablaban por la radio decían que no podían sostener la situación por mucho tiempo, algunos otros policías habían huido de gente matando a cualquiera que se les atravesara, que los disparos no les detenían y que cada vez había más y más ataques. Luego de eso no se volvió a escuchar la radio. Pasaron unos dos minutos y nadie pedía refuerzos. A lo lejos logré ver cómo cruzaban la esquina los paramédicos y algunos de los heridos que no habían llegado, se veían llenos de sangre. El que tenía uniforme del supermercado se acerca y les grita "¿qué pasó?" En eso todos ellos comenzaron a correr hacia nosotros y por reacción me monté en el puesto del piloto, le digo a todos que entren y arranqué la patrulla para huir del lugar, en eso veo por el retrovisor que los drones comienzan a perseguirnos, disparando dardos paralizantes al chico del supermercado haciendo que cayera y al alcanzarlo solo ví como comienzan a comérselo. Aceleré todo lo que pude camino hacia el este de la ciudad y alrededor de las calles se podía sentir golpes, gritos, ruidos y caos, solo aceleré a fondo ignorando los semáforos hasta la parte más alejada que había.

Después de 10 minutos manejando a gran velocidad y darme cuenta que estaba lejos de esa pesadilla, doblé en una esquina y me estacioné en una casa abandonada. La mujer que estaba de copiloto comenzó a llorar y los otros de atrás estaban que no podían hablar. Yo comencé a pensar un poco en lo ocurrido y a revisar los perfiles de RRSS de noticieros para ver que estaba pasando. Solo habían textos donde se le pedía a la población quedarse en sus casas y resguardarse debido a disturbios. Algunos comentarios decían que la gente se había vuelto loca, otros que habían zombis, que había llegado el fin del mundo, que el gobierno había sido derrocado, que las autoridades habían muerto. Nada que se pudiera confirmar. Luego de ver más información comenzaron a sonar los celulares con el tono que nadie espera escuchar, era la señal de emergencia con un mensaje de texto de parte del gobierno indicando que había toque de queda inmediato, se ordenaba a toda la población a quedarse en casa hasta nuevo aviso.

After being in shock for having seen the horror of the supermarket, I felt as someone began to take my arm and tell me to get up, I began to hear her better and better, it was a policewoman who asked me to leave the supermarket to receive medical attention in the ambulance that was outside. There were some injured by blows and falls, about 12 people in total. We were seated on floating chairs while we waited for small drones to take our vital signs and check our senses and ask routine questions. In addition there were two injured people on floating stretchers who had suffered falls and trampled by people running over them, one paramedic for each. These paramedic had prosthetic limbs fitted to his spine to add 4 arms so he could work faster on the patients. I was the last one waiting for the attention of one of the drones and while waiting I began to notice how one of the paramedics took a few steps away from his patient, it seemed that he was feeling bad because he shouted a couple of times before crouching down and staying there, the other paramedic asked him if he was feeling well while he approached and after a few seconds the one who was crouching threw himself over the other managing to bite him in one arm but the other stopped him with the artificial arms and they began a struggle where the first one kept trying to bite the other one again. We all got scared when we saw the confusing scene, the drones approached the fight and one of them shot painkillers to the aggressor paramedic but they had no effect, little by little half of the drones began to help subdue the aggressor paramedic, until they left him on the ground, they were directed by the other paramedic. A few seconds later a couple of drones approached the bitten paramedic and began to inject him with some substances, apparently he was feeling a bit sick and seemed to lose strength while he continued to subdue the other paramedic. Suddenly he shouted "GET OUT OF HERE", then two drones shot each of the paramedics with paralyzing darts and they fell down.

I ran and crossed the corner to ask for help, I shouted desperately and managed to stop the last patrol car, which was driving away at that moment, I ran until I reached it and told what had happened to the 2 policemen who were there, they got out of the patrol car to investigate. I stayed in the patrol car while only 5 of the wounded arrived while the others had stayed on the road, one of them had a uniform from the supermarket. On the patrol's radio we could hear how in many parts of the city reinforcements were urgently requested due to various disturbances that were occurring. The policemen talking on the radio said that they could not sustain the situation for long, some others had fled from people killing anyone who got in their way, that the gunshots did not stop them and that there were more and more attacks. After that, the radio was not heard again. About two minutes passed and no one called for reinforcements. In the distance I managed to see how the paramedics turn the corner and some of the wounded who had not arrived, they looked full of blood, the one with the supermarket uniform approaches and shouts to them "what happened?" At that all of them started to run towards us and by reaction I got on the pilot's seat, I tell everyone to get in and I start the patrol car to flee the place, at that I see through the rearview mirror that the drones start to chase us, shooting paralyzing darts at the supermarket guy making him fall and when I reached him I just saw how they start to eat him. I accelerated as much as I could on my way to the east of the city and around the streets you could feel banging, screams, noises and chaos, I just accelerated to the fullest ignoring the traffic lights until the farthest part there was.

After 10 minutes of accelerating and realizing that I was far away from this nightmare, I turned a corner and parked in an abandoned house. The woman who was in the passenger seat started to cry and the others in the back were unable to speak. I started to think a bit about what had happened and to check the RRSS profiles of newscasters to see what was going on. There were only texts asking people to stay in their homes and take shelter due to riots. Some comments said that people had gone crazy, others that there were zombies, that the end of the world had come, that the government had been overthrown, that the authorities had died, nothing that could be confirmed. After seeing more information, cell phones began to ring with the tone that no one expects to hear, it was the emergency signal with a text message from the government indicating that there was an immediate curfew, the entire population was ordered to stay at home until further notice.
