Roden el pueblo maldito/Roden: The cursed village.

Hoy voy hablar de mi aventura por el pueblo maldito de Rodén (España/Aragon/Zaragoza), este pueblo quedó desierto entre 1936 y 1937 debido a la guerra civil española donde fue bombardeado. Fue abandonado y construyeron un nuevo pueblo abajo de la montaña, el viejo Rodén sigue evocando, imponente desde las alturas, el fantasma del pasado. Today I am going to talk about my adventure in the cursed village of Rodén (Spain/Aragon/Zaragoza), this village was deserted between 1936 and 1937 due to the Spanish civil war where it was bombed. It was abandoned and a new village was built down the mountain, the old Rodén still evokes, imposing from the heights, the ghost of the past.This experience I am recounting in order to participate in the iniciative I invite Hive account@recarvajalp to write for this community.

Este lugar no es muy conocido, pero salió en un programa de TV donde tratan de temas paranormales, en el episodio los reporteros tuvieron que abandonar el pueblo en mitad de la noche debido al peligro que corrían por el fuerte viento, ya que son todo ruinas y podría caer alguna piedra encima de ellos. Pero hasta ese momento lograron grabar psicofonías igual que en el pueblo cercano de Belchite (España/Aragon/Zaragoza), que es mas conocido y donde mucha gente ha acudido para vivir experiencias paranormales.

This place is not very well known, but it was shown in a TV programme where they deal with paranormal themes, in the episode the reporters had to leave the village in the middle of the night because of the danger they were in due to the strong wind, as they are all ruins and some stones could fall on them. But up to that point they managed to record psychophonies just like in the nearby village of Belchite (Spain/Aragon/Zaragoza), which is better known and where many people have come for paranormal experiences.

Para llegar allí hay que atravesar un largo camino de tierra, ya que fue abandonado hace mucho tiempo y no es normal que se acerquen muchas personas allí, ahora quieren restaurar la torre, y por eso hay vayas y elementos de seguridad para no acercarte a las partes mas peligrosas debido a su estado de ruina.

To get there you have to cross a long dirt road, as it was abandoned a long time ago and it is not normal for many people to go there, now they want to restore the tower, and that is why there are fences and security elements to keep you away from the most dangerous parts due to its state of ruin.

Del pueblo queda bastante poco pero lo suficiente para que haya una atmosfera extraña, tan extraña que no me atreví a quitarme el casco de la moto, era una rara sensación, no quería quedarme mucho tiempo allí, pero necesitaba ver aquel lugar.

There is very little left of the village but enough to create a strange atmosphere, so strange that I didn't dare to take my helmet off the bike, it was a strange feeling, I didn't want to stay there too long, but I needed to see that place.

Nada mas adentrarme en la plaza principal del pueblo, apoye el teléfono en una piedra y me hice una foto con el temporizador, y así inmortalizar el momento de entrada.

As soon as I entered the main square of the village, I leaned my phone on a stone and took a picture with the timer to immortalise the moment of entry.

Decidí entrar en la iglesia pero no por mucho tiempo, no me sentía cómodo en aquel lugar, yo creo que normalmente cuando hay peligro, la gente se resguarda en la iglesia y así rezar por sus vidas, yo creo que murieron bastantes personas juntas aquí.

I decided to enter the church but not for long, I didn't feel comfortable in that place, I think normally when there is danger, people take shelter in the church and pray for their lives, I think quite a few people died together here.

Salí rápidamente de aquel edificio, "algo" no quería que yo estuviese allí, yo seguía con mi casco puesto ya que no quería pasar mas tiempo en ese lugar.

I quickly left the building, "something" didn't want me to be there, I kept my helmet on as I didn't want to spend any more time in that place.

Escuche un ruido extraño nada mas salir de la iglesia, me gire pero no vi nada, incluso llevando el casco puesto logre oírlo, pero estaba yo solo y nadie mas. Esa fue la señal para decidirme a abandonar aquel misterioso lugar, deje atrás aquella solitaria torre.

I heard a strange noise as soon as I left the church, I turned around but I didn't see anything, even with my helmet on I could hear it, but I was alone and no one else. That was the signal to decide to leave that mysterious place, I left that lonely tower behind.

Por fin veía mi moto, la que me iba a alejar de aquel lugar maldito, no sin antes los nervios o no se que fue, pero la moto no arrancaba parecía que lo iba a hacer pero nada, hasta que en el ultimo momento arrancó, respire aliviado y salir rápidamente de aquel lugar por ese camino pedregoso, aunque la moto no era la mas indicada para esos terrenos me dio igual y corrí como alma que lleva al diablo.

Finally I saw my bike, the one that was going to take me away from that cursed place, not before the nerves or I don't know what it was, but the bike wouldn't start, it seemed that it was going to start but nothing, until at the last moment it started, I breathed a sigh of relief and quickly left that place by that rocky road, although the bike was not the most suitable for that terrain, I didn't care and I ran like the devil takes the soul.
