Day 6 of the #HiveAroundTheWorld challenge: The view that inspires me is full of little paws, whiskers, and love.
Today is day 6 of the #HiveAroundTheWorld challenge, and I've taken the wild card for an additional topic because I have some motivators at home that inspire me to do more every time I see them.
Their antics, witticisms, and disasters keep me on my toes every day, but in return, I get pest control, protection, and lots of love.
The first one in the photo is Bandido, that's his name and he lives up to it every day. He's the most social cat I have, he lies down on top of visitors so they can pet him, but if you're not careful, he'll steal your chicken, ha ha ha. Some neighbors who were moving threw the poor kitten into our enclosed yard. We offered him up for adoption for a while, but he stayed with us.
The orange one is Michi, a demanding cat. She won't hesitate to wake you up in the morning by meowing in your face to be fed, but she's not stupid. She knows the exact moment when you open your eyes. She was the cat of someone special to me, but that person had to leave the country, and we kept her to take care of her. She was the first cat in our litter.
The next cat is Michigan, an expert hunter. She is the most loving kitten until she catches prey and turns into a wild animal. Now I am careful about which animals are within her reach because once she catches something, she doesn't let go. She was born in my childhood bedroom. My mom told me about a stray cat that had given birth there, and we brought the kittens home. Only Michigan survived out of the three kittens, and her mother disappeared.
Next is Jazz, aka El Negrito, a very relaxed cat with a lot of style. He enjoys daily dust baths and seducing female cats. This cat makes me work hard to get him neutered soon. I really need him to calm down, ha ha ha. I found him on a vacant lot about to be eaten by a dog. I wanted to put him up for adoption, but Halloween was coming up and I was scared. Before we knew it, he was part of the family.
We found the last kitten, Vaquita, recently in front of the house. We heard meowing for two days, and one day when we went to take out the trash, we found a kitten trapped in the tree in front of the house. We rescued him, gave him water and food, and now he is the healthiest and happiest kitten. We haven't found him a home yet, but something tells me he will join my litter.
All of them are professional food thieves and cover my clothes in hair, but I love each and every one of them.
Next is Italia, my special dog. She hardly ever lets me take pictures of her and hates being examined because she thinks she'll be given medicine. She was staying for a while while she recovered from her sterilization with this person, who was also the mother of the orange cat, but I fell in love with the dog and when this person left the country, I officially adopted her. Italia was rescued by the Seres sin Voz foundation. She had a serious illness where she almost lost an eye, but she recovered. I don't know how old she is because I think she spent years on the street, which is why I let her do whatever she wants, haha, but she is the best-behaved and smartest dog. I love her very much.
Finally, we have Mimi, the craziest dog. She runs like a greyhound, always with too much energy and an obsession with wanting to live on the street. She doesn't bite, but she runs people over, ha ha ha. She is the sister of Michi, the orange one, same story. She fills my yard with holes and dug one so deep and spacious that she likes it more than her bed.
They are all part of my pack, and every time I see them, they motivate me to want to give them more. They deserve a good life, and I want to give it to them.
Thank you all for stopping by to see this post.
