¡Hola hola, mi queridos amigos de Hive! Espero que todos estén bien hoy. Les cuento que he estado varios días preocupada porque mi gatito Simba se enfermó. Es la primera vez que tengo un gato así que no se mucho sobre ellos, siempre he tenido perritos.

A mi gatito poco a poco le fueron saliendo unos pelones que al principio no le dimos mucha importancia pero luego se le fue agravando, pensamos que era sarna y le compré ivermectina pero no le llegue a dar, primero consultamos con una amiga veterinaria y nos dijo que los gatos no son de salirles sarna, usualmente es hongo. Sin embargo, si no se le trata a tiempo si puede convertirse en sarna.
My kitten was gradually getting some hairs that at first we did not give much importance but then it was getting worse, we thought it was scabies and I bought ivermectin but did not get to give him, first we consulted with a veterinarian friend and she told us that cats are not to get scabies, it is usually fungus. However, if it is not treated in time it can turn into scabies.
Nos recomendó que lo trataramos con clotrimazol y menos mal tenía una cremita tópica. Conseguí eso y un jabón especial para los parásitos que, según, servía para las garrapatas, pulgas y demás. Lo tratamos con eso y en el se la calentabamos con un poco de hojas de nim la cual es muy buena para esos casos. También leí y vi un caso de que la cúrcuma servía pero no quería que mi gato pasara a ser un Pikachu jaja. Así que preferí, obviamente, cumplir el tratamiento.
He recommended that we treat him with clotrimazole and thank goodness he had a topical cream. I got that and a special soap for parasites which, according to him, was good for ticks, fleas and so on. We treated him with that and in it we heated it with a little bit of neem leaves which is very good for those cases. I also read and saw a case that turmeric was good but I didn't want my cat to turn into a Pikachu haha. So I preferred, obviously, to comply with the treatment.
No tengo tengo la fotografía del jabón que usé a mano pero allí les coloco la fotografía. Y gente, les digo que ese tratamiento funcionó, y ese jabonsito considero que también fue la salvación.

A Simba se le comenzó a curar las heridas que ya las tenía algo rojas de tanto que se rascaba. Cuando empezamos el tratamiento lo bañabamos 3 veces a la semana e inmediatamente le colocabamos la crema todos los días dos veces al día. Ahora lo estamos bañando 1 vez cada semana y de verdad que ha mejorado muchísimo.
Simba's wounds, which were already a little red from scratching, started to heal. When we started the treatment we bathed him 3 times a week and immediately applied the cream every day twice a day. Now we are bathing him once a week and he has really improved a lot.
Mi Michi es muy inquieto y no logré tomarle una buena foto pero ya podemos notar que su pelaje creció y ya no le quedó ningún pelón. Hasta se volvió más juguetón que tenía rato que había dejado de serlo. Eso es señal de que cada vez se siente mejor.
My Michi is very restless and I didn't manage to take a good picture of him, but we can already notice that his fur has grown and he no longer has any hair left. He even became more playful than he had been for a while. This is a sign that he is feeling better and better.
Ya poco a poco se ha ido recuperando y el espacio que había dejado el pelo ha desaparecido con el nuevo que le está saliendo. Ahora Simba se ve mucho más animado, ha vuelto a ser sumamente cariñoso y lo más importante no se rasca tanto jaja. El tratamiento comenzamos a hacerselo aproximadamente a finales de Noviembre y ya en este último baño que le dimos se notó mucho la diferencia y es algo que me hace sumamente feliz. Todos estábamos preocupados por nuestro michi.
Little by little he has been recovering and the space left by the hair has disappeared with the new one that is coming out. Now Simba looks much more animated, he has returned to be very affectionate and the most important thing is that he doesn't scratch so much haha. We started to do the treatment approximately at the end of November and already in this last bath we gave him we noticed a lot of difference and it is something that makes me very happy. We were all worried about our michi.
Estoy dispuesta a escuchar cualquier consejo, aún tengo mucho que aprender sobre los gatitos. Me siento toda una mamá primeriza aprendiendo cada día un poco más sobre mi hijo gatuno, pero estoy abierta a todo tipo de consejos que me quieran dar. Los leeré todos detenidamente.
I am willing to listen to any advice, I still have a lot to learn about kittens. I feel like a first time mom learning a little more about my kitty son every day, but I'm open to any advice you want to give me. I will read them all carefully.
