Hello friends how are you? Today I will tell you about the short life of my kitten (and almost son) Toothless; He was born on September 20, 2022 at the home of my sister's in-laws. Toothless, is the son of a cat named Mithy; an abandoned kitten that my sister's in-laws rescued.
Mithy when she got home was already pregnant; and already in the family was Pichicho, who is an adult cat; He accepted Mithy and when the kittens were born he behaved like a real dad.
Love for pets has not always prevailed among the families that have joined ours; Well, before, they only thought that cats were for hunting and dogs were for taking care of houses; and the stray cats and dogs were just that, stray cats and dogs; but the influence has been so strong that as time goes by and with the situations that have arisen with the abandoned pets, which we have rescued, they have joined our cause; and while not all of them are in our homes, we have found them a home where they are cared for and loved as much as we do.
Well, Pichicho himself, adoptive father of my Chimu, was rescued and adopted 7 years ago, he was found by my brother-in-law at the doors of a bakery and he was a very small baby, he had not even opened his eyes; It is not very common in my city to find a vet who really loves pets like we do; we did what we could, and happily we could.
Already at two months old I receive my cat blessing, and do you know something? Toothless chose me! And from the moment I met him I felt in love with him.
After 2 weeks of being at home, I began to worry, since I began to notice changes in him; He was not eating and there were red spots in his feces.
I immediately went to seek help from different veterinarians in my city, at that time I had no money and none of them took pity; until I met Grecia, a vet who loves pets as much as I do; she saw the suffering and despair in my eyes, she was the one who held out her hand to me, and at the same moment she took care of my little one; and you know something? I only paid for the treatment, since she did not collect her fees. The diagnosis of the problem was a picture of parasitosis which was perforating the intestines of my little Chimu and if it were not for the fact that we acted quickly, my little one would not be with us.
And it is that, my friends, I have learned from all these situations, that in the world there are not many people like us; that we profess love towards animals, that their pain is our pain, that we can identify in the look of each of the pets that have been abandoned, their sadness, their suffering and their desolation. People with a big heart and noble feelings do exist... I know that we can make the world a better world!
A big hug and many purrs to all.
