I wasn't mad even when that picture was taken despite my face saying otherwise, I was just annoyed that Fiona was on the couch, a couch that she's not allowed to jump in because she destroys everything she touches, and my father, instead of telling her to get down, decided to take a picture. That face is towards my dad, not towards Fiona.
She's three years old going on four and she's already a little bit sick, you know Great Danes - or any other gigantic dog for that matter - tend to have a lot of health issues due to their size, but she's still the happiest dog on the block.
She had puppies a couple of years ago and I actually made a cool video about it on Dtube - or maybe 3speak, I don't remember but I made it back when Dtube was still in our hive hearts -, so, she already tried the sweets of life and I don't feel bad for her that she's getting back, hip and leg problems.
I have to admit that I was a bit of a liar with this title. She is not my Great Dane, she's my dad's dog, but since I gifted her to him a few Christmas ago and I watched her grow (and I was the one who helped her give birth to her first and only litter) and I am the one who used to walk her, I consider her mine, and I believe she considers me hers.
And I mean, look at that face, how am I supposed to not love this beautiful girl as mine? She the sweetest and most tender dog I've had the chance to hang out with and call my own. She actually thinks of herself as a Chihuahua or some kind of small breed because she acts as if she was just 3 kilos. The way she shows physical love and wants physical love makes you think "damn, does she actually think she's not 40 kilos and more than 80cm tall?"
The way she plays with my dad says it all...
Look at her, my dad decides to clean the garden and Fiona decides she now has a new bed to get some sun in the mornings.
She's so smart (for a Great Dane) and sweet that she can even blink at the camera at will.
That's Fiona, don't you love her already?
