Me complace compartir con todos ustedes mi primera publicación en la comunidad. Hoy vengo a mostrarles una grata experiencia que tuve con unos hermosos loros guacamayos en un paseo familiar a la playa.

I am pleased to share with you all my first post in the community. Today I come to show you a nice experience I had with some beautiful macaws on a family trip to the beach.
Hace algunos dias fuí de visita en un paseo familiar a la playa. Nos alojamos en una bella posada de un ciudadano de origen alemán. En dicha posada habian muchas antiguerdades algo que me parecio realmente hermoso pero lo que mas me llamo la atención fueron unos hermosos Loros Guacamayos que tenia este señor como mascotas.
A few days ago I went on a family trip to the beach. We stayed at a beautiful inn owned by a German citizen. In this inn there were many antiques something that I found really beautiful but what caught my attention were some beautiful parrots Macaws that this gentleman had as pets.
El dia que me alojé era de noche, en la mañana al despertar escuchaba claramente como alguien llamaba insistentemente.

Me llamo la atención que el dueño de la posada de nombre Henrick no contestaba al llamado por ende y con algo de pena le pregunté, porque no atiende? Me miró, sonrió y me respondió. Son mis loros los que estan llamandome. Me dijo acompañame.
The day I stayed was at night, in the morning when I woke up I could clearly hear someone calling insistently.

I noticed that the owner of the inn named Henrick did not answer the call, so I asked him with some embarrassment, why didn't he answer? He looked at me, smiled and answered. It's my parrots that are calling me. He told me to come with me.
Al salir a las areas verdes noté la presencia de 3 loros guacamayos quienes rapidamente comenzaron a saltar y moverse de rama en rama. Quede muy impresionado con la clara pronunciación de los 3 loros.
When I went out to the green areas I noticed the presence of 3 macaws who quickly began to jump and move from branch to branch. I was very impressed with the clear pronunciation of the 3 parrots.
Obviamente sabia que los loros pronunciaban sonidos similares a las palabras cotidianas. Pero lo que mas me llamó la atención fué que estos loros tambien pronunciaban algunas que otras frases en Alemán como !Hallo! (Hola en aleman) o !das wohlsein! (salud en alemán) de hecho uno soltó la frase mas larga clara y a un ritmo de un pasodoble andaluz diciendo Yo quiero ser Torero!
Woow estos animales son impresionante, tienen una memoria a largo plazo muy buena.
Obviously I knew that parrots pronounced sounds similar to everyday words. But what caught my attention was that these parrots also pronounced some phrases in German like !Hallo! (Hello in German) or !das wohlsein! (health in German) in fact one of them uttered the longest phrase clearly and in a rhythm of an Andalusian pasodoble saying "I want to be a bullfighter!
Wow these animals are impressive, they have a very good long term memory.
El dueño de la posada me comentó que desde que llegó de Alemania en los años 50 siempre a tenido loros, pues al llegar a Venezuela quedo maravillado con la gran biodiversidad de fauna existente y aunque el adora a los perros afirma que los loros son el mejor amigo del hombre. Entre risas me comentó hemos llegado incluso a entablar conversaciones las cuales con mi perro serian imposibles de hacer. (Risas)
The owner of the lodge told me that since he arrived from Germany in the 50's he has always had parrots, because when he arrived in Venezuela he was amazed with the great biodiversity of existing fauna and although he loves dogs he affirms that parrots are man's best friend. Laughing he told me that we have even had conversations which would be impossible to have with my dog (laughs).
Datos de estas mascotas.
Los loros guacamayos son una especie de ave proveniente de centro america y america del sur. En Venezuela es el pais con el mayor numero de especies de este tipo de loros, habiendose documentado 16 generos.
Es increible la fidelidad que pueden tener estos bellos amigos emplumados, a pesar de contar con grandes alas para volar e irse a otros lugares. Estos loros se encuentran en completa libertad libre de jaulas.
Su dieta comprende semillas de girasol, maiz triturado, frutas como bananas, calabazas. Son de habito diurno pero lo mejor es que son unas mascotas ideales.

Facts about these pets.
Macaw parrots are a species of bird from Central and South America. In Venezuela is the country with the largest number of species of this type of parrots, having been documented 16 genera.
It is incredible the fidelity that these beautiful feathered friends can have, in spite of having big wings to fly and go to other places. These parrots are found in complete freedom free of cages.
Their diet includes sunflower seeds, crushed corn, fruits such as bananas and pumpkins. They are diurnal but the best thing is that they are ideal pets.
