I´m new to this group and want to share my Pets Experience with you guys. Although I grew up with pets like dogs and cats around me I don´t have an own pet at the moment as I was traveling a lot in the past 5 years.
BUT, during these travels we became House and Petsitters and therefore had lots of Pets around us all the time. In total we took care of more than 40 Houses...including the Pets. We took care of so many cats and dogs but also reptiles like snakes or bearded dragons. Believe it or not, I remember every single one of them and I´ve photos from almost every single pet.
I want to introduce a few of them to you today.
Willow
More than 3 years ago we took care of Willow a 14 year old, almost blind cat. She lives in Coolum Beach in beautiful Australia. It was a rather short Housesit but we still remember her as she was lovely and did not cause any trouble or much work, which I guess is pretty normal for a 14 year old cat. We had to keep her in a closed room at night as she would have sneaked out at night which isn´t really a good thong in Australia.
She loved to lay outside in the grass and get brushed from my girlfriend. :)
Rusty
The next one is one of our favourites until today. We took care of Rusty a few times, I think it was 4 times, during the last years. He´s a mixed breed with a bit of a Dingo in him. That´s what makes hm so special. I've never taken care of such a stubborn dog and still liked him so much.
We have so many good memories with him and actually should take care of him next year. Due to Covid we can´t travel to Australia, so we won´t see him again that quick.
