That's us, well only the furry part of the family has already tried on their christmas outfit. We had a photo session especially for the new community. That was the call for the contest blog “ our pets of hive community dresses up for Christmas” well we do that every year because our Gordon Setter Joey has his birthday on the first day of Christmas. So he get a cake made of meat, dogbones, milk and whipped cream with a little candle.
Its not only this season we love them more we love them all year through but at christmas ( and at Halloween , remember the hive blog where we put a white sheet with two holes over his head and did a photoshoot ) we do all kinds of pictures and dress up ourselves in a christmas onesie or pyjama.

Our dogs Charlie and Joey are famous on the blockchain already and we love them dearly, they take an important place in the house and in our family, so we want to show them merry days at Christmas aswell so I cook them different things and show them that when we enjoy Christmas they have a celebratory month aswell.
Offcourse they have to pose ALOTR untill their blond dog mum has enough pictures to blog and Bragg with on the blockchain of opportunities.
We ofcourse stay at home due to the dutch lockdown, we can only go for a walk in the forest or the fields maybe go to the beach but we have to stay away from other people so we have to see how that will be possible.
Thank god in the Netherlands fireworks are forbidden and there. Is a new law that you wil get a biog fine if you do use fireworks so thats perfect for these two. They are so afraid of the noise that the firecrackers make. We had two years that we took them to a special doghotel ( also blogged about that place a few times here on hive ) where they stayed the 31 st of december until 12.00 oclock january first to stay far away from the noise because that place is so remote that was the best option to not have them freak out. Not this year thank god, but we will keep them very close just in case.
The christmas tree is not very interesting to them both bit the fact that they are very big both and have a very wiggly and long tale we used plastic balls at the lower layers of the tree that when they do hit the branches the balls wont break. They both get toys and bones but we lay them under the tree on the first day of christmas because they otherwise would steel the gifts from right under the christmas tree.
We take many pictures and, we make our family christmas and New Years card on the first day of christmas so that one I plan to use on another blog. But this is one we love and send to the breeders.
We got a card from them aswell. ( this is the card the made and the model is Joey ‘s sister Gordon setter Megan )
Maybe I will make one just for fun and edit it in later.
