( holy ) friday and today ( saturday ) our second lockdown Easter long weekend starts. We still can go to the supermarket and as you could see I was well prepared for the brunch menu and today we start with a chicks and chooks visit at the neighbours. But first...
What is White Maudy Thursday?
Good Friday, we know. And Easter most certainly, well I hope you do, if not well I will talk about that in a minute. But what is Maundy Thursday? Maundy Thursday is the Thursday before Easter, believed to be the day when Jesus celebrated his final Passover with all his disciples. Most notably, that Passover meal was when Jesus washed the feet of His disciples in an extraordinary display of humility. He then commanded them to do the same for each other.
What Does Maundy Thursday Mean?
Christ's "mandate" is commemorated on Maundy Thursday---"maundy" being a shortened form of mandatum (Latin), which means "command." It was on the Thursday of Christ's final week before being crucified and resurrected that He said this commandment to His disciples. Jesus and his disciples had just shared what was known as the Last Supper and he was washing their feet when he stated: "A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another" (John 13:34).
What Was the New Commandment Given on Maundy Thursday? Well, for one thing, it raised the definition of love to a new and higher standard. Jesus sacrificially met His followers' deepest need---that of new spiritual life and the forgiveness of sins. He even loved His enemies, and He calls us to show love to those who don't appear to deserve it. Just as Jesus loved sinners "to the end" (or "to the max" John 13:1) when He had nothing to gain from them, so must we. The Bible says that there was nothing attractive about sinful mankind that drew Him to love us. God loved us while we were yet sinners (Romans 5:8). Salvation is not only a wonderful gift that protects us from the penalty that we deserve Romans 6:23 , the work of Christ also embues new life, grants spiritual strength, and motivates godly action in those who believe. In the netherlands believing is a ground right so its allowed to go to church but there is so much controversy these days because people go to church , sing, pray etc, and all next to eachother. Thats not ok, corona is also spreading amongs the people going to church, AND its a pandemic! So we all should stay home and do what we do in church now in the comfort of our home. Easter is in your hart and thoughts not in being in a building called a chutrch.

** ¿Qué es White Maudy Thursday? **

El Jueves Santo es el jueves antes de la Pascua, y se cree que es el día en que Jesús celebró su Pascua final con todos sus discípulos. ** ¿Qué significa Jueves Santo? **

What is Good ( holy ) Friday?
Yesterday and the white thursday the boys were free from school, you can do your thing and believe in the comforts of home. So thats said and given the meaning of the thursday, What is Good Friday and why do we call Good Friday “good,” when it is such a dark and bleak event commemorating a day of suffering and death for Jesus? I had so long that i didnt understand the name. For Christians, Good Friday is a crucial day of the year because it celebrates what we believe to be the most momentous weekend in the history of the world. Ever since Jesus died and was raised, Christians have proclaimed the cross and resurrection of Jesus to be the decisive turning point for all creation. Paul considered it to be “of first importance” that Jesus died for our sins, was buried, and was raised to life on the third day, all in accordance with what God had promised all along in the Scriptures (1 Corinthians 15:3). On Good Friday we remember the day Jesus willingly suffered and died by crucifixion as the ultimate sacrifice for our sins (1 John 1:10). It is followed by Easter, the glorious celebration of the day Jesus was raised from the dead, heralding his victory over sin and death and pointing ahead to a future resurrection for all who are united to him by faith (Romans 6:5). What is the Meaning of Calling it "Good" Friday?
Still, why call the day of Jesus’ death “Good Friday” instead of “Bad Friday” or something similar? Some Christian traditions do take this approach: in German, for example, the day is called Karfreitag, or “Sorrowful Friday.” In English, in fact, the origin of the term “Good” is debated: some believe it developed from an older name, “God’s Friday.” Regardless of the origin, the name Good Friday is entirely appropriate because the suffering and death of Jesus, as terrible as it was, marked the dramatic culmination of God’s plan to save his people from their sins.

So that being said, we also did the non Christian things yesterday and also this morning. Now we went to the neighbours 4 minutes down the road. He had chickens and that is also Easter for us and the kids. The sounds they make and they are so adorable. They were 6 days old and they are for the farm, and to sell to people who want fresh eggs in the morning I guess, hahahahah. My hart melted, it was so sweet.
Dicho esto, también hicimos las cosas no cristianas ayer y también esta mañana. Ahora fuimos a los vecinos a 4 minutos calle abajo. Tenía gallinas y eso también es Pascua para nosotros y los niños. Los sonidos que hacen y son tan adorables. Tenían 6 días y son para la granja, y para vender a la gente que quiere huevos frescos por la mañana, supongo, jajajaja. Mi corazón se derritió, era tan dulce.
And the little princess loved it aswell, she was leaning against the wooden crate to try to touch them. I had such a great time and so did the boys. Keeping it light and safe these days. The nature is such a great distraction these days, and a great way to make blogs for hive life.

The wooden cage, the feeder bowls, the lamps and the wood snipes all was explained to the boys by Ari, the neighbour and now the boys want chicks aswell ! So i am a bad and not nice mum now , untill I am gonna say yes, well I got news I am not gonna say yes to the ..... dress ehhhh chicks!
