Before adopting my kitten, I did some research on typical cat behaviors, as I was a complete novice and desperately needed to learn at least the basics. One of the things that shocked me most was learning that cats can sleep for many hours.
It's been almost two years with my kitty, and although she doesn't sleep 19 hours a day like some people say, she doesn't waste any time resting and relaxing. It doesn't matter much where in the house she is; she can relax on the bed, in a box (which is one of her favorite spots), and she absolutely loves her hammock. If we move it around, even better, because she really enjoys it 😜
Cat lovers know very well that cats love high places, so we can also find her sleeping or relaxing on top of the refrigerator, or even better, on the clothes in the closet. But not content with that, sometimes she thinks my notebook and the clothes in the closet are perfect for a nap 😊
Want me to tell you a secret? Sometimes I wonder how they manage to relax so much. It's like they forget for a good while that there's a life outside. Well, they don't have to worry about anything, hahaha, because we do everything for them. For example, she only worries about getting her food on time and playing and being affectionate only when she feels like it 😁 Anyway, I think her life is great: eating, sleeping, giving orders with her different meow tones. My cat definitely knows how to live life 💕
Antes de adoptar a mi gatita estuve investigando un poco sobre los comportamientos más normales en los gatos, pues yo era una verdadera novata y necesitaba urgentemente conocer por lo menos lo más básico, una de las cosas que más me impacto fue el saber que los mínimos podrían dormir muchas horas.
Ya son casi dos años con mi minina y aunque no duerme las 19 horas como algunos dicen, no pierde tiempo para descansar y relajarse, no importa mucho el lugar de la casa, ella puede relajarse en la cama, en una caja, siendo este uno de sus lugares preferidos, algo que le encanta es la hamaca y si se la movemos mejor aún, porque lo disfruta mucho 😜
Los amantes de los gatos saben muy bien que los mininos aman los lugares altos, así que también la podemos ver dormida o relajada arriba del refrigerador, o mejor aún en la ropa del closet, pero no contenta con eso a veces cree que mi cuaderno de apuntes y la ropa del closet son especiales para dar una siesta 😊
Quieren que les diga un secreto? a veces quisiera saber cómo hacen para relajarse tanto, es como si se olvidaran por un buen instante que hay una vida afuera, bueno ellos solo tienen que preocuparse por nada, jajaja, porque todo se lo hacemos nosotros, por ejemplo, ella solo se preocupa por tener su comida a la hora y por jugar y ser cariñosa solo cuando a ella le plazca 😁 en fin creo que su vida es genial, comer, dormir, dar órdenes con sus distintos tonos de miau, definitivamente mi gata sí que sabe vivir la vida 💕
