A week ago, we had to take Sortario to the vet for an emergency because of a lump on his testicle. I honestly thought my dog was about to die 😌, but thank God we were able to take him to the doctor. They prescribed treatment, and we see that he's recovering.
That day, the doctor who treated him mentioned that a blood test was needed to make a diagnosis, and she confessed that it could be an infection or possible cancer. Of course, my husband and I were in low spirits; we couldn't imagine our dog in such a delicate situation as cancer.

That was on a Friday. We went home and started his treatment right away. Sortario started eating and walking again, since he didn't want to do either. Seeing him lively again made us excited because we thought it was a great thing to see him acting like his normal self again.
We took him back to the vet first thing Monday morning for his blood test, but we had to wait until the next day for the results. Thankfully, Sortario has an infection that clears up with treatment. His platelets came out fine. Overall, our dog is very healthy, and that has given us a lot of peace of mind and, of course, makes us very happy. 😊
It's really hard to imagine life without that beautiful furry friend who greets us so warmly. He's always excited every time he welcomes us home. We're now finishing the treatment prescribed at the beginning, and then we'll begin the treatment that will finally cure the infection.
Sortario is currently eating more than usual, hehe, he's a very hungry dog! He's also more active, which is great. We think we still have a lot to share with him 😍

Saludos querida y hermosa comunidad 😊 espero y la estén pasando muy bien al lado de sus queridas mascotas!
Hace una semana tuvimos que llevar a Sortario de emergencia al veterinario por una protuberancia que tenía en su testículo, sinceramente yo pensaba que ya se acercaba el fin de mi perrito en este mundo 😌 pero gracias a Dios pudimos llevarlo al médico le mandaron un tratamiento y vemos que se está recuperando.
Ese día la Doctora que lo atendió, nos mencionó que había que hacerle un examen de sangre para poder dar con el diagnóstico y nos confesó que podía ser una infección o un posible cáncer, por supuesto mi esposo y yo teníamos la moral baja, no nos imaginábamos a nuestro perrito en una situación tan delicada como es el Cáncer.

Eso fue un viernes, nos fuimos a casa, le empezamos de inmediato su tratamiento, Sortario empezó a comer de nuevo y a caminar ya que él no quería hacer ninguna de las dos cosas, al verlo otra vez animado nos emocionamos porque pensamos que era muy positivo verlo de nuevo actuar como lo hace normalmente.
El Lunes a primera hora lo llevamos de nuevo al veterinario para hacerle su examen de sangre, y tuvimos que esperar hasta el día siguiente para saber los resultados, gracias a Dios, Sortario tiene una infección que se cura con un tratamiento, las plaquetas le salieron bien, en general nuestro perrito está muy saludable y eso nos ha dado mucha tranquilidad y por supuesto nos hace muy felices 😊
La verdad es difícil imaginarse la vida sin ese hermoso peludo que nos saluda con tanta algarabía cada vez que nos recibe en casa, ahora estamos terminando de darle el tratamiento que le mandaron al comienzo para después empezar a dar el tratamiento que terminará de curar esa infección.
Sortario en este momento está comiendo más que de costumbre, jejeje, ¡el es un perro muy hambriento! además está más activo y eso es muy bueno, nosotros pensamos que todavía tenemos muchas cosas que compartir con el 😍
