It's been one hell of a year... as a mom, I've gone from being a mom of one to three kids to also being them mom of 3 furbabies (don't tell the kids that though - they think they're the parents HAHAHAHAHA cries).
No really, in all honesty, especially now during the school holidays, I can't begin to describe how it feels to come home to my beautiful family and of course, a house full of cats!!!!!
I keep telling Zak we only need two more to build Voltron, but that may take a little more convincing insertevillaughhere
It's been one hell of a journey, and a stinky one at that, but I'm happy to say that the flipping cat litter boxes have all left the building and all three cats, having accepted their fate of being microchipped, vaccinated and collared (although Squeek would not even look at me for at least two whole days), are now free to go poop in the neighbours garden - as nature intended!
They have also managed to match their talents from synchronised sleeping to competitive pigeon mauling...
It was a bit of a hairy start with all three of them trying to figure out where they fit in to the hierarchy of things, and who gets to eat the trash 1st but the worst of it , the part where we thought we lost our Siamese/Tabby/Sassy girl in A Tale of Three Tails Part 2: Lexi Goes Missing. seems to have passed us by in a flash of fur.
All three furballs are beautifully settled and perfectly matched to their chosen Paladins: Chai with @MerenLudick, Squeek with @AimeLudick and of course Lexi with @Matthew-Williams and all 6 of them are enjoying roaming our beautiful garden, which is well-shaded and green - perfect for these hot South African summers.
They seem to have perfected the art of sneaking up on us in the kitchen and and licking food off our toes if we mess while we are cooking.
But I warn you, little floof balls: Daddy (@ZakLudick) is watching and you'd better not poop in the vegetable patch!
