So, for those of you who don't know Lexi, here's a brief introduction. From the day I adopted her almost 5 years ago until now, Lexi has developed some kind of shmodel (model) posing routine for the camera, but most importantly when Daddy: is behind the lens.
She is extremely intelligent and beautiful - which she is totally aware of and uses to her advantage, and has the makings of a wild thing, with her mixed breeding of Siamese, tabby and wild cat. This has given her those beautiful green/blue eyes and dark chocolate tips on her feet and at the end of her tail and tabby stripes that definitely turn into wildcat markings.
Like,
I couldn't have trained her to look more beautiful or more cute. Oh my gosh. It's like she knows exactly what poses will make us go "Awwwwww" and inevitably give her more treats 🤣
oh my gosh, especially this one!!
I cant help myself. It's always amusing to try to stick my finger in her mouth while she is yawning. WTF is with that? It always has hilarious consequences though as she then gives us ice cold looks of disapproval. It's SO worth it though 🤣🤣
It doesn't last long and then she is back into "strike a pose" mode in no time.
When she is with me, things are totally different. She just comes to me for food or to fall asleep with. I haveto make her ridiculous royal bed out of my fluffiest scarves every day, which she insists on, but then sniffs and kneads for a bit and then goes to sleep - normally on the other side of the bed where my feet go! I also have to answer her calls for attention in a particularly strict manner - determined by her, with the right amount of meows at the perfect pitch otherwise she won't come in from the passage outside our bedroom!
She might be a high maintenance "Daddy's Girl," but we can't wait to bend to her every desire. And she KNOWS IT!
