brought me this bag this morning! Does that look like a stoned or guilty face? Lexi and Squeek somehow got into Aime's room and raided the catnip! Check the toothmarks out π€£
That would totally explain why Lexi wasn't begging for cuddles last night and simply vanished after supper time. Lol.
Winter is definitely here and Lexi is using both e and as heating pads. I mean, we love to think they cuddle because they love us, but really it's just to get what they want π€£ some scratches and warmth!
Of course, once the decide to sit on you, that's it. What ever you had planned for the day goes out the window and you just accept your fate and wait, have a nap, and only move when they do!
Even Squeek is jumping at the opportunity of anyone sitting on the couches downstairs, to get some extra loving and warmth.
Ok maybe they do love us - just enough to keep us on a string!
My mom sent me these photos earlier this week and they are so special.
The ginger kitties were from our house in Johannesburg, where I was born an lived there until I was about 1 years old and my sister was about 6, so I don't really remember them, but aren't they cute? This is them as kittens so I should imagine this photo was taken long before I was even conceived!
This photo is super special and I do remember these kitties. I myself was about 4or 5 at the time this picture was taken. The mommy cat there, who became the matriarch of a load of litters before we finally had her and Tigress "fixed.' Snowey, the mommy cat had at least one of her litters on my mom's angora jersey, in her cupboard and Tigress, the odd kitten out here and the only tabby
was the one w kept and she made a hole in the back of our couch, climbed in and had her litter there!
I've been looking after tiny kitties from such a young age and I have always said that a home is not a home without a cat (or several!).
