Wow! It's been a while since I posted about my other lovable children. In the summer, they tend not to be so cuddly and like to find cool spots in the garden.
Very rare pictures of a very warm Lexi
Also, keeps stealing both cats π€£, which is totally unfair and a good justification for why I need to adopt mooooore cats!!!! nudgenudgewinkwink
In fact, I didn't have any recent photos of them, so I had to ask her to send me some!
It's amazing how they have such totally different personalities depending on who they're with. I mean, Lexi would not have put up with even half of this from me! π€£
I did some scrolling and found a handful of "summer cat" photos. They were difficult to find, considering the massive heat waves we had this year. Here she is enjoying the fan as much as me!
I managed to take these on Valentine's Day after gifted me with this stunning rose and extremely yummy cookies. Just look at Lexi, she's such an absolute poser!
Since the turn of the weather, though, I have been blessed with their "Royal Highnesses" attention, although Squeak is a battle to photograph as she's very, very shy and really has become Aime's cat. We still managed to get some great shots of her, though.
Here are some gorgeous ones that I totally took advantage of. They were very difficult to capture, hence some of the hilarious blurry action shots, in my defence, but here's Lexi licking my hand with much enthusiasm after apparently waking her up after a very deep nap (looking stoned AF).
She has even tried to be helpful with ' homework! Even though most of the time he was just chasing and chewing on the end of the pen, it's the thought that counts, right?
I am so grateful for listening to the rain outside, enjoying the company of Lexi, and cuddling up with my knitting and my hot water bottle!
Disclaimer: I cannot be held accountable for the enormous bucket of cookies on the bed π±ππ
This is definitely the best part of being a "furmommy!"
