Greetings friends, for weeks I have been observing a cat that has been roaming the streets of my urbanization, sometimes he took refuge in the houses of the neighbors where they gave him some food, some let him spend the night in their garages, although many neighbors do not like cats, however, this one was given affection and love. He walks from one place to another and still nobody has taken the initiative to look for his owners, adopt him at home as a pet or simply take him to a place where someone can take care of him. But sometimes this cat walks very quietly around the gardens of my house.
Saludos amigos, desde hace semanas vengo observando un gato que se la pasaba recorriendo las calles de mi urbanización, a veces se refugiaba en las casas de los vecinos donde le daban algo de comida, algunos la dejaban pasar la noche en sus garajes, aunque a muchos vecinos no les gustan los gatos, sin embargo, a este le daban cariño y amor. Anda caminando de un lado a otro y aun nadie se ha preocupado o tomada la iniciativa de buscar a sus dueños, adoptarlo en su casa como mascota o simplemente llevarlo a un lugar donde alguien se pueda hacer cargo de él. Pero a veces este gato anda muy tranquilo paseándose por los jardines de mi casa.
However, yesterday I had the opportunity to see that she was at a friend's house who lives one house away from mine, he decided to take her and take care of her for a while, immediately they took her to the vet for some checkups, everything was fine and they bought her some food, at that moment I was at my friend's house we decided to call her Nala, a name that is very nice, rare and very few cats have it. As her name indicates she is a female, you could tell she was very happy and content for her new home, where I am sure she will receive the proper love and affection she needs.
Sin embargo, ayer tuve la oportunidad de ver que estaba en casa de un amigo que vive a una casa de la mía, él decidió agarrarlo y cuidarlo por un tiempo, de inmediato lo llevaron al veterinario para hacerle algunos chequeos, todo estaba bien y le compraron algo de comida, en ese momento que yo estuve en casa de mi amigo decidimos llamarla Nala, un nombre que es muy bonito, raro y muy pocos gatos lo tienen. Como su nombre lo indica es hembra, se podía notar que estaba muy contenta y feliz por su nuevo hogar, donde estoy seguro de que recibirá el cariño y el amor adecuado que necesita.
This friend is estimated to be a few years old, is very heavy, big, has a very nice color of hair, a combination of colors between yellow, brown, black, a unique look and is very striking from afar, plus eyes that are very nice. While we were talking we came to the conclusion that maybe she is a pedigree cat, because of her coat and the way this friend looks. Even if, my friend cut her hair a little, as she had damaged ends, she was given a good bath, but it was a disaster to do it, but she is clean and very happy.
Esta amiga se estima que ya tienes unos cuantos años, es muy pesada, grande, tienen un color de pelo muy bonito, una combinación de colores entre amarillo, marrón, negro, un aspecto único y es muy llamativo desde lo lejos, además unos ojos que son muy bonitos. Mientras conversábamos llegamos a la conclusión de que quizás sea un gato raza, por su de pelo y el aspecto que tiene esta amiga. Aun si, mi amigo le corto un poco el pelo, ya que tenía las puntas dañadas, le dieron un buen baño, pero fue todo un desastre a la hora de hacerlo, pero está limpia y muy feliz.
Nala is a little restless and playful, it seems that she had already lived with other people, she chases you everywhere you go, she rides on the bed, on the furniture and seems a little annoying and uncomfortable, but she is a very affectionate ball of fur. However, when you tease her a lot or touch her in a rough way, she starts scratching, runs away and hides under the furniture and then after a while she appears, when she becomes confident as if nothing happened. For me it is the best thing to have a pet in the short time that I have been sharing with her, she seemed very friendly.
Nala, es un poco inquieta y juguetona, pareciera que ya había vivido con otras personas, te persigue a todos lados que vas, se monta encima de la cama, de los muebles y parece un poco fastidioso e incómoda, pero es una bola de pelo muy cariñosa. Sin embargo, cuando la fastidian mucho o la tocan de una manera brusca, comienza a rasguñar, sale corriendo y se esconde de bajos de los muebles y después al rato es que aparece, cuando entra en confianza como si nada. Para mí es lo máximo tener una mascota en el poco tiempo que llevo compartiendo con ella me pareció muy amigable.
He eats too much, he is served a ration of gatarina, a fist of the hand about every three times a day and even in the middle of the morning or afternoon, he is given something else to eat, and he eats it. She must be very hungry, we think. Besides, she is used to eat everything, so she won't have any problems, but she is always given her cat food to get used to it and her respective water bottle.
When she doesn't have anything in the food container she starts to meow or chase you around the house to get food, but we are trying to educate her so she doesn't have that bad habit of eating whenever she wants or at any time.
Me llamo mucho la atención es que come demasiado, se le sirve una ración de gatarina, un puño de la mano aproximadamente cada tres veces al día e incluso a la mitad de la mañana o de la tarde, se le da de comer otra cosa, y se lo come. Será que paso mucha hambre, pensamos. Además, está acostumbrada a comer de todo, por ese aspecto no tendrá problemas, pero igual siempre se le da su gatarina para así poder acostumbrarla y su respectivo envase de agua.
Cuando no tiene nada en el envase de la comida comienza a maullar o a perseguirte por toda la casa para que le den comida, pero se está tratando de educarla y no tenga esa mala costumbre de comer cuando ella quiera ni a cualquier hora.
I had a lot of fun taking her pictures, since I had to look for the perfect angle, but every time I took a picture she moved, stayed looking at the camera or ran away and I had to go out behind her to take it. Even so, I was able to do her photo session with this amazing cat, after spending a few hours of struggle, laughter and fun, since taking a picture of a pet is not easy and even more if it is a cat.
Al momento de tomarle las fotos me divertí muchísimo, ya que tenía que buscar el ángulo perfecto, pero cada vez que tomaba una foto se movía, se quedaba viendo la cámara o salía corriendo y yo tenía que salir detrás de ella para tomársela. Aun así, pude hacer su sesión de fotografía a esta increíble gata, luego de pasar unas cuantas horas de lucha, risa y diversión, ya que tomarle una foto a una mascota no es nada fácil y más si es una gata.
I hope this week she behaves very well with her new owners and doesn't make a mess so she can last a long time with them and get adopted or until her real owners show up. Besides, I will also be visiting her every time I can to play for a while and take a lot more pictures with this friend.
