I don't have any pets of my own but I cat and house sit for a friend of mine while she is on holiday. I find this to be the cheapest version of having a pet! It was lovely and sunny yesterday, so I was able to sit out in the garden.
Usually, at least one of the cats joins me. They like to know what I'm doing, so I ended up having a bit of a photo shoot with them. Number one cat was busy learning how to tight rope across the top of the wooden fence.
He got his balance in the end. He sat on the fence for at least 30 minutes, taking in the sun's rays and shooting the breeze.
Back inside, the cats usually have set meal times. If they want treats in between their meals, they know how to give me that pleading look.
No 2 cat got her treats - who could resist that face?
I interrupted cat number 3 while she was having a wash.
She walked off in disgust and went to lay on the stairs.
.... where she fell asleep. I had to share my bed last night with all three of them. When I turned over they all got up and turned over. I really need a bigger bed!
