My friend Rufos
| Hace unos días mis papis, mi hermano y yo fuimos de vacaciones a una hermosa cabaña en el delta del rio de la plata en la zona de Tigre, en un rio llamado caraguatá. | A few days ago my parents, my brother and I went on vacation to a beautiful cabin in the delta of the Rio de la Plata in the area of Tigre, in a river called Caraguatá. |

Es un lugar hermoso, yo estaba impresionado de la belleza de este lugar. Arboles grandes como edificios, pájaros de diversos tamaños y colores, todos cantando su propia canción. Flores de todas las especies dando mucho aroma y lo mejor; a orillas del río y sin nadie que nos molestara.
It is a beautiful place, I was impressed by the beauty of this place. Trees as big as buildings, birds of different sizes and colors, all singing their own song. Flowers of all species giving a lot of aroma and the best thing; on the banks of the river and with no one to bother us.

Pero lo que más me gustó es que allí conocí a un amigo, su nombre es Rufos. Es un enorme perro negro de cabellos rulos y de carácter muy amable. Apenas llegamos nos comenzó a perseguir para jugar y nos acompañó durante toda nuestra estancia.
But what I liked the most is that I met a friend there, his name is Rufos. He is a huge black dog with curly hair and a very friendly character. As soon as we arrived he started chasing us to play and accompanied us throughout our stay.

Cuando estábamos bañándonos en el río, él se metía con nosotros (yo decía es un perro acuático), y me divertí mucho con él. Una de las formas en que jugábamos era que le lanzaba arena y el intentaba morderla. Y así nos estábamos por horas y horas.

When we were swimming in the river, he would jump in with us (I said he is a water dog), and I had a lot of fun with him. One of the ways we played was that I would throw sand at him and he would try to bite it. And we would be like that for hours and hours.

A la hora de dormir, nos acompañaba a la puerta de la habitación y al despertar en la mañana allí estaba aún.
At bedtime, he would walk us to the bedroom door and when we woke up in the morning he was still there.
Lo único triste fue cuando nos tocó volver porque al embarcarnos en la lancha que nos hacía el transporte, el perro comenzó a llorar y a aullar. Yo no aguanté y me puse a llorar también. Lloré y lloré hasta que llegué a tierra firme.
The only sad thing was when we had to go back because when we boarded the boat that transported us, the dog began to cry and howl. I couldn't stand it and started crying too. I cried and cried until I reached dry land.

Afortunadamente, en casa me estaba esperando mi perrita Denga quien me recibió con un movimiento de cola y ladrando de la felicidad.
Fortunately, my dog Denga was waiting for me at home and she welcomed me with a wagging tail and barking with happiness.
