¿Qué porque los llamo tesoros? Pues, no los considero mascotas como tal, se han vuelto parte de mi familia. Me preocupan cuando enferman, lloro cuando veo que no regresan y soy muy feliz cuando los veo jugar y corretear alegres. Se han vuelto parte importante de mi entorno los quiero y aprecio como si de un hermano se tratara.
Why do I call them treasures? Well, I do not consider them pets as such, they have become part of my family. They worry me when they get sick, I cry when I see that they don't come back and I'm very happy when I see them play and run around happily. They have become an important part of my environment, I love and appreciate them as if they were a brother.
Me gusta pensar que el resto de mi familia ve a esos gatitos de la misma manera, aunque se hagan los duros no pueden evitar preocuparse por ellos cuando enferman o tardan en regresar, es una reacción inconsciente pero no la he pasado por alto ni una vez. Me sorprende el vínculo que se creó entre los gatitos y yo, pues cuando rescate a mi primer felino no era mucho de gatos, nunca me llamaron demasiado la atención, me gustaban de lejos y ya; y ahora tengo nada más que cuatro felinos en casa y no tengo más porque mi madre no me deja tener más de esos,así que a los que me llegan me aseguro de conseguirles un buen hogar.
I like to think that the rest of my family sees those kittens in the same way, even if they are tough they can't help but worry about them when they get sick or are late in coming back, it's an unconscious reaction but I haven't overlooked it once . I am surprised by the bond that was created between the kittens and me, because when I rescued my first feline it was not a lot of cats, they never caught my attention, I liked them from afar and that's it; And now I have nothing but four cats at home and I don't have any more because my mother won't let me have more of those, so I make sure to find a good home for those who come to me.
Esos pequeños de arriba son Tostón y Mani Jr,son hermanos traviesos los dos, Mani es una hora menor Que Tostón pero sin embargo está más grande que que él, supongo que es el típico caso de "el menor supera al mayor". Cuando Tostón estaba muy pequeño de apenas 2 meses le cayó un palo en la cabeza eso le generó ataxia vestibular una condición que no tiene cura pero la ha sabido manejar y hoy en día es un gato muy feliz. Hace casi un mes intento saltar la pared por primera vez pero no le salió bien y se paso de largo, terminó cayendo en un terreno abandonado. Cuando me di cuenta e intente rescatarlo no se dejaba pues estaba muy asustado y por su condicion no sabia como regresarse. Estuvimos 4 días tratando de traerlo pero no se nos acercaba era como si no nos reconociera, así que le dejábamos agua y comida para que no pasara hambre. Al final termine subiéndolo en una cesta, pues tenía hambre así que le coloque un pedazo de carne en la cesta y cuando se metió a comérselo lo subí. Eso fue un gran alivio nos tenía muy preocupados a todos no les voy a mentir.
Those little ones above are Tostón and Mani Jr, they are both mischievous brothers, Mani is an hour younger than Tostón but nevertheless he is bigger than him, I suppose it is the typical case of "the youngest exceeds the eldest." When Tostón was very young, barely 2 months old, a stick fell on his head, which generated vestibular ataxia, a condition that has no cure but he has known how to handle it and today he is a very happy cat. Almost a month ago he tried to jump the wall for the first time but it did not go well and he passed by, he ended up falling on an abandoned field. When I realized it and tried to rescue him, he would not allow himself because he was very scared and because of his condition, he did not know how to return. We spent 4 days trying to bring him but he did not approach us, it was as if he did not recognize us, so we left him water and food so that he would not go hungry. In the end I ended up putting it up in a basket, as I was hungry so I put a piece of meat in the basket and when he got in to eat it I brought it up. That was a great relief, and we were all very worried. I'm not going to lie to them.*
