I am a cat person. I have 3 cats and I almost knew nothing about dogs.
We had puppies when I was younger but they wouldn't really last long cos we can't take care of them properly as we had no backyard so they usually end up being adopted by another family after us. Now that I'm older, I decided to get another furry companion.
I've always wanted a big furry one, so I went to research about Golden Retrievers. Turns out, my friend have an uncle that breeds pure goldens. I almost always base my decisions on intuitions and I felt like getting that specific golden left ASAP (even though original plan was to get it later).
He's going to be from a city around 6 hours from me. So they arranged a transporter to bring it to me and it's gonna arrive soon.
I bought the doggo some basic needs. Treats, leash, food bowl, etc.
I also bought dog food (dry) and cat litter for him since I've been thinking of how to potty train him and how to dispose poop properly (and yeah I know it's for cats lol but dunno maybe I can try if I can train him to use it).
I bought shampoo too! I was thinking of bringing him to a grooming place but maybe I can just bathe him myself if I'm not too tired. We'll see.
I also bought stuff for my cats. They are quite picky, so I don't buy a lot if they haven't tried it yet.
This one is their favorite but I find it quite expensive. $2.30 for just 4 pieces. Haha. And they can just finish it for what, 1 minute? -_-
They haven't tried this either, so hopefully they will like it. It's an instant food but it's around $2 and very small haha dunno why this brand quite pricey.
And lastly, I bought a new collar for my cat cos for some reason, she always lose hers. Maybe I put it too loose on her.
I'm excited for the doggo to arrive. :D
