"you not done taking picz yet?"
Ethan and I had a night walk recently and we noticed that the lights in the roundabout of the subdivision are on so we quickly went home to take my phone with me. This is a good opportunity to take pics of him in his first Christmas and at the same time test the night mode shots of my iPhone 13 Pro Max.
This is in a roundabout cos for some reason they didn't turn the lights on in the gazeebo (which had more lights) so there were quite a few cars passing by. He would curiously look at them, being nosy, like how a golden retriever is nosy about everything.
He was already tired cos we walked around before going here at the roundabout cos I didn't expect they'd turn the lights on lol. So not much good poses cos he would lay down even when I told him to sit. :p
The portrait mode gives a nice bokeh.
The camera gives off a good balance of highlights and shadows even in a low light situation. Yeah there were lights but it was still practically dark but the camera still was able to take a shot nicely.
This was edited tho (to my liking) but I will take comparison shots in another post that focuses on iPhone shots.
I would take fast shots cos he lays down fast lol.
He's getting fluffier!
Also the iPhone was able to focus on the subject nicely even in night with low light. Pretty amazing actually. My previous phone (iPhone 12 pro) kinda struggles a bit with focus at night but this one did it nicely. Just wow.
He was like saying "Let's go home already!".
This was also in portrait mode and it looked like a DSLR shot haha.
This was a nice sample shots for a night with lights! Since this was just inside a subdivision, there weren't much lights around. In the city center tho there are plenty of lights and it would be nice for us to be able to go there and check them out and take pics! :o Maybe in a few days or so. I need to take someone else with me too since I don't know what his reaction would be in a park with a lot of people and vehicles and lights. And the city park is like 40 minutes away from us but it would be a great experience if we're able to. :D
