How could I forget, although I think that every day is important, July 21st was the day chosen to celebrate the World Dog Day. What is the reason for this commemoration? The dog has been considered for many years as man's best friend. It carries with it extraordinary values such as nobility, loyalty, fidelity, as well as an unconditional love that goes beyond death.

Since 2004, this great day is celebrated to honor the importance of animals for life on the planet and for mankind. Also, other aspects of great importance are considered, the exorbitant amount of animals in condition of abandonment, that have no home, besides highlighting the responsibility that comes with educating and caring for a pet, they are living beings that deserve a dignified life, full of love and care. Those who do not have a voice have some independence, but are unable to fend for themselves in times of illness, healthy and nutritious food, among other necessary care for their quality of life.

If it is about abandonment, I feel totally identified, I think that all animals deserve a home, I hope that there is no more suffering for them for not having a roof, that animal abuse is eradicated and that there are laws to protect them. My grain of sand in commemoration of this unforgettable date has been to help them as a volunteer in foundations and also on my own.

I have never bought a dog, for me life does not have a monetary price, animals are not objects to be traded, or toys for children to play with. The breed does not make one dog special from another, they are all the same, they are beings that need love, a family. The breed only tells us how we should take care of them because they influence in several aspects that involve their health. I have seen abandoned pedigree dogs, which means that the problem is not the pedigree, but the behavior of the human race, their indolence, their indifference.

I feel privileged, at home we have always had dogs, we are not guided by the breed, but by the love they give us and we give to our faithful companions until the end of their days. Some of these dogs have been rescued by me and have been very happy. I already told you in another publication that my dog Muñeca was living in a street condition and her life changed, she has had a home for about 4 years and she is very happy, we both complement each other in happiness.

It is possible to change the condition of abandonment with just an act of love, our faithful friend will thank you. They always thank and never forget the helping hand that helped them in the most difficult moment of their lives.

Como olvidarlo, aunque pienso que todos los días son importantes, el 21 de julio fue el día elegido para celebrar el día mundial del perro. ¿A qué se debe esta conmemoración?. El perro es considerado desde hace muchos años como el mejor amigo del hombre. Lleva consigo extraordinarios valores como la nobleza, la lealtad, la fidelidad, además de un amor incondicional que va más allá de la muerte.

Desde el año 2004, se celebra este gran día para homenajear la importancia que tienen los animales para la vida en el planeta y para el hombre. Asimismo, se consideran otros aspectos de gran importancia, la cantidad exorbitante de animales en condición de abandono, que no tienen hogar, además de resaltar la responsabilidad que conlleva educar y cuidar a una mascota, son seres vivos que merecen una vida digna, llena de amor y cuidados. Los que no tienen voz poseen cierta independencia, pero son incapaces de valerse por sí mismos en momentos de enfermedad, alimentación saludable y nutritiva, entre otros cuidados necesarios para su calidad de vida.

Si de abandono se trata, me siento totalmente identificada, pienso que todos los animales merecen un hogar, espero que no haya más sufrimiento para ellos por no tener un techo, que se erradique el maltrato animal y que haya leyes que los protejan. Mi granito de arena en conmemoración a esta inolvidable fecha ha sido ayudarlos como voluntaria en fundaciones y también por cuenta propia.

Nunca he comprado un perro, para mí la vida no tiene un precio monetario, los animales no son objetos que se comercializan, ni juguetes para que los niños puedan jugar. La raza no hace especial a un perro con respecto a otro, todos son iguales, son seres que necesitan amor, una familia. La raza solo nos indica cómo debemos cuidarlos porque influyen en varios aspectos que involucran su salud. He visto perros de raza abandonados, lo que quiere decir que el problema no es el pedigrí, sino la conducta de la raza humana, su indolencia, su indiferencia.

Yo me siento privilegiada, en casa siempre hemos tenidos perros, no nos guiamos por la raza, sino por el amor que nos dan y le damos a nuestros fieles compañeros hasta el final de sus días. Algunos de estos perros han sido rescatados por mí y han sido muy felices. Ya les conté en otra publicación que mi perrita Muñeca vivía en condición de calle y su vida cambió, desde hace aproximadamente 4 años tiene un hogar y es muy feliz, ambas nos complementamos en felicidad.

Es posible cambiar la condición de abandono con solo un acto de amor, nuestro fiel amigo te lo agradecerá. Ellos siempre agradecen y nunca olvidan la mano amiga que los ayudó en el momento más difícil de sus vidas.
