It has been a couple of days since the doggo is kind of out of his behavior. At first I thought it was something with Christmas and getting too much human left over foods, but he keeps on getting water thin diarrhea which totally sucks.
So last night I stayed asleep in the living room for if during the night he needed to go out, because I would say that is what you do for you furry friend. And indeed we were making some nightly runs which were most interesting.
The Fox
I live close to a forest now, and honestly I never have in my whole life, so I am learning a lot about nightly wildlife at the moment. So while the dog was taking his dump about 10 meters a way from me stood a fox all of a sudden.
I had never seen a fox just walking around free and was caught really off guard by it. When I was walking back I was hearing a sound which I had already heard before, but never had an idea what it was. It sounded like puppies were stuck under a bridge and were howling. But this turns out to be the sound of the fox
Check out the sound and you will see what I mean with howling.
The Woodpecker
Another sound I have also been hearing recently is the sound of a woodpecker. You can spot them because they have some red on their wings. Their sound is really weird as well, as if you are releasing a rubber band against something.
So these guys were here in the morning and there were more of them sending signals to each other. I guess this really is some kind of communication but it really weird when you hear it for the first time and have no idea what this is.
Well nice wake up call I would say for this morning.
The White Owl
I think I have written about more about this dude already before of his sound in the night. Also not what you would expect because everybody thinks of a nice U-HU sound when they think about owls. Well forget it guys! This is reality
As you see staying a night half awake and dozing in here and there can be a lot more interesting than you could imagine. It sounds more like a band here at night than some piece and quite haha.
(But uhhh..apart from that. Any suggestions for a dog with a belly ache? He acts normal, eats and drinks normal, just has very thing poo)
