spamming comments here becasue I can't seem to organize my thoughts into one message 😆 but for dogs that have homes, good homes, they generally will not mark your dog without you asking for it or at least, without asking you first. Generally this is reserved for farm dogs, work dogs, or street dogs brought in by rescue organizations. We always check for it when we find a stray but for your dogs at home at your house, they probably wouldn't have it. None of my dogs do other than the one that had already been picked up by an animal rescue, released, and then I decided to adopt her.
