My cats are natural hunters. In my house there is a very large patio and they spend their time walking and sleeping in the sun all day. They also love to eat bugs. They have no problem hunting anything they can eat.
Es sabido que mis gatos son cazadores innatos. En mi casa hay un patio muy grande y se la pasan paseando y durmiendo al sol todo el día. También les encanta comer bichos. Ellos no se hacen problema en cazar cualquier cosa que puedan comer.
However, a few days ago my cat Agatha hunted a bug. It was a giant cricket, so much so that when I saw it it made me scream with fright.
Sin embargo, hace unos días mi gata Agatha cazó un bicho. Era un grillo gigante, tanto que cuando lo vi me hizo pegar un grito del susto.
But instead of eating it, she had it there playing with it. She would hug it and when it tried to escape, she would grab it again.
Pero en lugar de comerselo, lo tenía ahi jugando con él. Lo abrazaba y cuando intentaba escapar, lo volvía a agarrar.
Unfortunately for the little cricket, it was unlucky enough to come across another of my cats who didn't feel like playing.
Para desgracia del pequeño grillo, tuvo la mala suerte de cruzarse con otro de mis gatos que no tenía ganas de jugar.
I think the hunting instinct of my cats is surprising. It's not that they lack their balanced food, because they eat it all day all the time. It is simply its desire to play a bit or eat something different from time to time 😂.
Pienso que el instinto cazador de mis gatos es sorprendente. No es que les falte su alimento balanceado, porque lo comen todo el día todo el tiempo. Simplemente son sus ganas de jugar un poco o de comer algo diferente de vez en cuando 😂.
