Hello Hive Fam—most especially my fellow fur parents and pet lovers! 💕 I’m typing this blog on the spot before heading to bed, even though it’s almost 3AM here in the Philippines. Writing before bedtime has become part of my routine since my daytime schedule is always packed. So here I am, squeezing in this story before I finally go to sleep.
Like I shared in my post yesterday, I had quite the challenge convincing our beloved Chow Chow, Cardo, to take a bath. I really wanted to try bathing him myself this time, especially since it was my boyfriend’s rest day. I thought it would be nice if he could just relax while I handled the task.
But Cardo had other plans. He was stubborn and refused to cooperate with me no matter how much I tried. In the end, my boyfriend had no choice but to step in—just like he always does. From shampooing Cardo’s thick fur to carefully blowering it dry, he took full responsibility once again.
Meanwhile, I played the role of the “official photographer.” I managed to capture a few photos of Cardo during his bath time, which I’m sharing here for your reference. Even though I wasn’t able to bathe him myself, I’m still glad I got to document the moment. Cardo looked so fluffy and regal afterward, as if he knew he had won the battle against me!
Thank you so much for reading my late-night ramblings, Hive Fam, Hive Friends. I truly appreciate the time you spend with me here, especially as I share little slices of our life with Cardo. Being a fur parent is never easy, but it’s always worth it. Until my next bedtime blog, sending love and paw prints your way! Good mornight, Everyone! Stay safe and healthy.---greetings from me and Cardo
