Hello, Hive Friends! It’s me again, writing on the spot before bedtime—my little nightly ritual that keeps me connected with you all. I love these late-night scribbles because they let me share everyday joys, and tonight’s story is about my fur baby, Cardo.
Last weekend, we received three cans of Aozi dog food, and while that may sound like a small thing, the story behind it makes it special. The cans were given to us by my boyfriend’s sister when she and her husband visited our place here in Bulacan. They live in Manila with their two kids, but they decided to spend some time with us, bringing not just their presence but also a thoughtful gift for Cardo.
What makes this gesture sweeter is the bond they’ve always had with Cardo. Back when we were still renting an apartment in Manila, they often spent time with him and grew fond of his fluffy Chow Chow charm. Now that they’re selling dog essentials, they could have easily asked us to buy; but instead, they gave the Aozi cans for free, simply because their love for Cardo hasn’t faded.
