Hello, Hive Friends! I hope you’re all doing well today. I wanted to share a little story from my household that gave me both laughter and a bit of stress—because, as many of you know, life with pets is never boring!
Today, I tried to convince my fur baby, Cardo, my fluffy Chow Chow, to take a bath. Now, I thought it would be simple: call him, prepare the water, and gently guide him in. But Cardo had other plans.
Instead of cooperating, he decided to turn bath time into a full-on game of hide-and-seek. First, he jumped onto his favorite seat near the window, looking at me with those big eyes as if to say, “Nope, not today!” Then, when I approached, he dashed under the stairs, hiding like a mischievous child avoiding chores. Back and forth he went—window seat, stairs, window seat, stairs—while I stood there with shampoo in hand, wondering if I should laugh or cry.
I tried my best to convince him with gentle words, treats, and even a little pep talk, but Cardo was determined to win this round. Honestly, I think he enjoyed watching me chase him more than anything else.
In the end, I wasn’t able to bathe him myself. My boyfriend stepped in and managed to get the job done—so Cardo did get his bath, just not from me. I’ll be sharing his actual bath time photos in a separate post, but for now, I’ll include some random shots of his silly antics today so you can see the fluffy troublemaker in action.
Life with pets is full of surprises, and Cardo never fails to keep me on my toes. Thank you, Hive Friends, for reading about my little adventure today. I hope it brought a smile to your face, and maybe you can relate if you’ve ever had a stubborn fur baby of your own. Stay tuned for the next post where I’ll share Cardo’s bath time moments!
