Whether you’re spending it with family, friends, or your pets, may your hearts be full and your smiles genuine. Today, I want to share a little story about my beloved fur baby, Cardo the Chow Chow, who reminded me that love is also about comfort and care.
Yesterday, while I was working from home and busy with my online tasks, I noticed that Cardo seemed restless. He kept roaming around the house, trying to settle down for a nap, but he just couldn’t stay in one place.
I realized it was quite warm, and perhaps the heat was making him uncomfortable. So, I decided to turn on the aircon. To my surprise, the moment it started running, Cardo walked straight to the area near the CR, right in front of the cool air. That was the only time he finally looked relaxed and drifted off to sleep.
Honestly, I try to save on electricity bills whenever I can, since I'm dealing with mountains of loans. Same has been shared in some of my previous posts. But seeing Cardo’s discomfort made me realize that his well-being comes first. I cannot let my fur baby suffer because of the hot temperature. His comfort is worth every bit of energy spent, because love means choosing care over convenience.
