Hello dear friends of Hive Pets, I am very happy to make my first post in this beautiful community and even more to tell you about my beautiful Cinnamon.
Before Cinnamon came into our lives, everything was so simple and straightforward, everyday life was so predictable. Getting up in the morning, preparing breakfast, going to work, returning home and finding everything just as we had left it. When Cinnamon came home 3 years ago, she spiced up every moment with her sweet presence. Nothing was ever the same again, even the quiet afternoons of rest, Cinnamon arrives giving us a tender caress with her paw as if to say it's time to go for a walk.
I remember that Cinnamon was 9 months old when she shared with my daughter and me her first Christmas and since then she fills our lives with colors. Christmas is a magical time that brings a lot of joy to every member of a family, including pets, especially when they are too restless. Cinnamon is always running around chasing lizards, but at Christmas she becomes more intense because she sees us organizing and decorating the house for the arrival of Christmas.
In Venezuela it is customary to paint the house before putting up the tree, that day we were active to make sure it was perfect and Cinnamon jumped with excitement all day long, but to our surprise, at the end of the day her tail was painted with wheat colored paint and her paw prints were all over the floor. When I saw her I couldn't believe it: Cinnamon, what have you done! And all we had to do was die laughing and wipe the paint off her tail and paws.
Then, when we had the house ready and tidy to put up the tree, we took out all the ornaments, ribbons, and Christmas balls of different colors, but there was a very beautiful green one that I didn't know where it was: I put it here, I'm sure of it! We looked everywhere, but where we hadn't looked was in Cinnamon's bed and there it was. It is those things that Cinnamon does that fill our lives with flavor.
Unfortunately all is not joy because when people who do not know how much harm they do to pets and begin to light fireworks, peace ends for the dogs but also for everyone in the family to see the animals so scared and suffering with so much noise. When that happens Cinnamon stays in our arms and we tell her not to be afraid because she is with her humans who love her immensely.
I hope you liked this first post telling you about my beloved Cinnamon. I wish you all are having a very merry Christmas in the company of your pets.
